The Audible Contrast Threshold test - also known as ACT™ - is a revolutionary diagnostic test, that measures a persons real-world ability to hear in noise, and predicts their ability to understand and isolate speech from background noise.
The ACT test is non-language specific and you can perform the ACT test on anyone who is also able to participate in audiometry.
ACT is developed by the Interacoustics Research Unit - IRU at the Technical University of Denmark.
