I got the E7270 and I LOVE the keyboard layout. Specifically the placement of the page up, page down, home and end buttons - So convenient for the fingers, less fatigue than having them placed in the top row. I use keyboard shortcuts a lot when writing/editing, so the placement of these keys is perfect. Sadly, Dell hasn't stuck to this layout with the newer generations, when they do I'll consider upgrading. However, the one annoying downside of Dell laptops is that, in certain operating conditions, they suffer from an audible high-pitch electrical whine ( it's been documented by Dell as normal ), which I personally find quite annoying, but I wear NC headphones so that's not an issue for me. Not sure if they have fixed this on newer models.

I bought a Latitude E7470 Ultrabook about a year ago and have been quite happy with it. The only thing I don't like is the fan noise. It doesn't go on to often but sometime it goes on in the middle of the night which is a little annoying. Also, the battery doesn't hold a charge too well. I knew that when I bought it but I didn't realize the price of a good used battery would more then $100. All in all, though, it's a great laptop.

Nice video, but your audio is very low. FYI, I really like the Thinkpad Yoga 370 Core-i7-7600U as a used laptop; yes it is more expensive, but with the Core-i7, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD that came with it, it is an excellent laptop that is not only touchscreen, but also has a stylus and can be flipped to be a tablet, which is excellent with OneNote.

Thanks for the heads up. That 370 is a nice machine. I might pick up a x1 carbon this week with the 6th gen processor

@@MikeDancy I actually had a 4th gen X1 Carbon before this Yoga 370, excellent computer. My wife asked for an upgrade to her ancient Dell Latitude E6430 so I gave her my X1 and got the 370. I like the 13" screen of the 370 since it is ultra portable and great for when I go on site for clients. I put Windows 11 on my Yoga, works perfectly.

I know this video is a little older, I highly recommend the 5470 as well, yes it is a little bulkier but it is very solid

This is a really cool and briefly put reveiew... and I agree since I am owning a E7470 too..BUt there are a few things I just didn't understand...My e7470 has an LCD 1366*768 resoution...So, I don't understand the glare issue since apparently your model is an LED version??? I just don't get it , cuz mine is LCD with a matte screen....Either, there are different versions or I was robbed xD, mine is the i5 6300u 16 gigs version tho...I didn't understand that part but the rest, I agree💯

@Salamah Channel Al-Maliki Quran&Hadith Good to know ✌🏻 but I don't understand the 768 pixel screen on mine, I was expecting FHD! QHD Touchscreen that you mentioned seems a great offer but I'm sure it'll have more effect on the battery!

On second thoughts, I second the first sentence in your comment. True about that, there are so many variants for the E7470 and it's easy to mix up. Mine is 1366*768 resolution model but that's just one of the variants, it's totally normal I guess. The QHD Model is a thing but that's mostly for touch screen equipped versions I guess. The video here also reviews a QHD touch model of the E7470 @SalamahChannelAl-Maliki
