I have collected this series of books and love them. A good use of the books: sharing with others. The boys in the family like the creepy and crawly stickers. Lots of flowers, I use for cards. Excellent for alphabet glue books. You can even reuse book as an alpha glu book. When stickers are used washi tape edges of the slick pgs together and use decorative printed pages as backgrounds.

I’ll be getting two of them (like I did with the original). One to use and one to keep! I love just flipping through the images! I think it’s a great deal for the price.

Some of the images I saw during the flip trough are from very very old kids stories. Kind of off topic, but do the stickers in the botanicals book have border or does the artwork go to the edge?
I do like the reading girls and all the kitties. And the Halloween skeleton page, but I think I will wait on purchasing it, as I do have the original and have not used that much of it yet.

How funny I just bought the new one at Target this afternoon and now I see this video today as well. I didnt have any off them and I was happy to see they had both the new one and the old one at Target. So I flipped through both of them. In the end I liked the new one better. It seemed like it had more letters and numbers and I liked that it had quotes. Its a lot of stickers . So for me one is plenty. There fun books and I like that there are some odd thigs that I probably wouldnt have picked otherwise.

I found a gothic loving, vampire loving, dark world loving pen pal and I use all my images for her! I don’t like skulls, death etc. but found some joy making the flip books for her.

Sorry for my delayed response!!! Thr botanical stickers have borders too. I usually fussy cut them honestly. I hope this helps!!
Not the same. As you said, being able to get the book references will be key to appreciating the differences.

These sticker books are real nice but the stickers don't always stay stuck, so when I use them on postcards I add some glue to the back.

I was so disappointed with the botanical stickers...they seemed cheap and didn't stick as well but I love the new book.
