The music direction in this game was brilliant, and once you listen to the ost as a standalone piece of music it really becomes noticable in the gameplay

Pom's version is never actually heard here because she never gets a big enough lead/combo to make it activate. It transitions to Tian's version at 0:27 and then stays that way all the way to the very end of the match, right before Pom wins, where it transitions back to Neutral, followed by Pom's winning leitmotif for the stage, which is adorable. That's actually something I feel people tend to sleep on or perhaps not notice: The little musical leitmotifs that happen at the match intro, the outro, and the transitions _between_ rounds. Although hilariously, the transition from Round 1 to 2 got a little messed up because the Tian player continued comboing past the "KO!" popup. Normally the transition happens seamlessly with the black strokes screenwipe.
This is legitimately the first time I've seen mama dog make any difference in a match. Usually I just see her pose menacingly in the background while I wonder why my opponent even bothered.
I like how Tianhuo acts more like a mentor than just a battle obsessed character, every fight is a lesson and she may be even willing to help her opponent growing stronger if she sees potential
It's pretty funny if you pay close attention to how your opponents play style shifted in the last round once you got out of the corner. They stopped playing to win, and began playing to "not lose", holding block and leaving themselves open to more chip in between your pressure.
Basically: -Use the diggers to force the enemy to keep blocking after a block string so you can keep attacking -Use the flyer to extend combo from a launcher or try a surprise overhead after a block string, though comboing from that will not give you a ground bounce -The big dogs are terrifying when used for corner pressure ...I don't know how to use the growling pup, I know they can do a low but I keep whiffing it, I'm working on that
If anything else, them’s fightin’ herds is getting recognized for their fantastic online since that is how EVO is operating this year. Keep an eye out for Skullgirls and Killer Instinct too.
I absolutely love the way combos free flow in this game. And see how not every combo can be the same. Also that absolute clutch at the end G FUCKING G MATE

You shold have seen the livestreamn. They would spend hours showing off the mechanics. They showed how the mechanic was started, then tested and the final. This game was not rushed. Despite appearances, i honestly think it holds up with the best of them. The matches get crazy at times... Like this has certainly shown.

However I have started playing smash as well. It’s genuinely really fun playing and learning fighting games and I’ve wanted to actually play different fighting games. Dragon ball is fun but the online is so horrible. Maybe I shud try this game out. Is the online servers good in this game?

It's not nearly as complicated as it looks, you can do well with a simple A B C combo into a special move, the actual hard part is knowing when to block and when to attack, but the game's training mode and tutorial give you all the info you need Just dive in!

Hard question, but I'm tempted to say Granblue, I love its art style, its more neutral focused approach without going too far in that direction, and it has VASERAGA
How do I get to the game- It's bringing me flashbacks to when I was younger and had a combat game that was like this but more 3D and I forgot the name of it.
@@jojo95DK What I mean is that it didn't work the way it's supposed to. It didn't switch over to Pom's instruments when she was winning, and it didn't go up a half step for the final round.
@@dogman15 Pom didn't get a big enough lead/combo to steal the instruments away from Tian, and only was able to reset the music back to Neutral right before winning the match. The Final Round theme also DID kick in properly, it's just that Huacuya's FR theme sounds _very_ similar to the normal theme, and it still had Tian's instrumentals on it anyway. I find it funnier than the Tian player got cocky/stylish and kept comboing after the "KO!" in Round 1, which messed up the Tian transition into Round 2's music, which normally lines up with the black screenwipe.
