Axial® introduces another first with the 1/10 scale RBX10™ Ryft™ 4WD. This ready-to-run vehicle lets any RC driver experience the thrills of rock bouncer off-road action. Full-size rock bouncers refuse to stop - or even back down on the throttle - when facing steep climbs and massive rocks. So does the RBX10™ Ryft™ 4WD. This ground-up new Axial® vehicle handles lots of abuse and loads of power!
The RBX10™ Ryft™ 4WD’s robust, custom tube chassis is engineered from a high-strength composite plastic that withstands the hard knocks of RC off-roading - even while moving at the high speeds produced by a strong powertrain featuring a 4S-capable, 2200Kv brushless motor. Both the front and rear axles boast a durable one-piece, molded plastic, solid axle design, and metal differential cover. Licensed Interco TSL Bogger tires on Raceline wheels, aided by long travel front and rear shocks, do their part to tame wild off-road tracks. These features, along with a full-time 4WD transmission, make the RBX10™ Ryft™ a fun vehicle to send over the trails at full throttle.
Exclusive Spektrum™ technologies, such as Smart telemetry and AVC® traction control, help even new RC drivers enjoy the unstoppable performance from the RBX10™ Ryft™ 4WD. Its Spektrum™ DX3™ radio uses DSMR® technology for superior range, response, and interference resistance. The radio is also fully compatible with the Smart telemetry potential of the vehicle’s Spektrum™ Firma™ 130A Smart ESC. When using a Spektrum™ Smart LiPo battery, you’ll stay aware of on-board battery capacity with only a glance at the transmitter's handy voltage level indicator. When the voltage gets low, an alarm will sound.
The DX3™ radio and SR6100AT receiver also support the on-demand traction control of Spektrum™ AVC® (Active Vehicle Control®) technology - included here for the first time in an Axial® RTR vehicle. I remounted the rear shocks directly onto the rear axle, it lessens the torque twist, it doesn't eliminate the twist but it's not as ridiculous as it was and it was a free mod. Locking the diffs may also keep those feet planted but I'm cheap and haven't done that yet.
And this guy just started working overtime. New toy coming my way......

I have one, one of the first things I did was remount the rear shocks directly onto the rear axle. It now has much less torque twist. It still has twist, it will flip and roll but it's much more manageable. This thing is fast and fun. I mounted a gopro on it but not the best idea if I'm going to be rolling it. Someday I'm going to add HD fpv with a camera that's protected.
It also loves the snow!

Needs some swaybars but the torque twist could be fun. It needs to be released as a kit so people can put sensored electronics in it to stop the cogging. Also maybe the kit should come without wheels and tyres. But this looks absolutely amazing and great job guys. And amazing video too👍👍

Seems like it has a lot of torque twist. Maybe I’m wrong but beginning it gets on it and almost twisted all the way around. Super cool looking but have to see about the price. Its not worth no $600 so if it’s that much Horizon is really swinging for the fences and needs to get real.

You've got it. I've bought one, and it flipped when turning around at 2S-50%-speed. It will be fine at 2S-100%-speed if the front and rear sway bars are installed and when each cell is probably at least over 3.8V. The AVC effect is weakened after 10 mins, though it is fed by one 7200mAh 7.4V battery with approximately 20 mins playtime. At last, the chassis does not have enough space to carry 2x7200mAh batteries in parallel. So sad.

This thing needs sway bars. its twisting all over the place the whole time. Super distracting. I already have a built Wraith and Bomber. Im good thanks.

I've had mine for two weeks and with less than 5 hours of drive time and many many things breaking, My best advice is DO NOT BUY A RYFT. I can not say it any clearer, the RYFT is a $500 buy in for a $1200 RC car if you want to drive it for what it is trying to simulate. There are so many other things wrong with this RC the Breakage is only the START.

I have over $250 in the axles on my Capra to make them quit breaking every time the truck falls on it’s side or gets in a bind. You really think I’m gonna buy a truck some how uglier than a night crawler, with a high center of gravity, and no low speed control. I guess I should just be thankful it’s not got a fiat I mean "Jeep" body on it.
It'll sell well regardless if its not to some peoples taste.
I’m not a huge fan of Horizon’s surface stuff but damn dude your miserable.
Not sure how I’m miserable? Lol I have a ton of axial trucks. But they are getting progressively worse with each one. Umg10 had missing parts and incorrect instructions. 6x6 version had clicky axles and drive shafts that would fall out. Capra the axle tubes break if it falls on it’s side literally from a 6" fall the rear tube broke next to the pumpkin. I’ve broke every portal gear and axle shaft in the Capra as well. The scx10iii again missing pieces, incorrect instructions with the kit. And the weakest transmission I’ve seen in some time. I like collecting as I have over 50 trucks now, I don’t care to spends hundreds of dollars on my trucks but I do have a problem with having to spend hundreds of dollars on a truck just to get it to a point where you can run it a full day without it breaking. Sorry the capra left a bad taste in my mouth, that the scx10iii failed to ameliorate. It has open diffs, high center of gravity, no low speed control. I’m not miserable for seeing this I’m disappointed. 20 years ago when you had to build trucks from scratch Axial was the company that looked at what everyone was doing and built a truck for true crawler enthusiasts. Now I feel like they are making low quality trucks with the thought of "someone will buy this."
@@ThyWillRot I get what your saying, I’m familiar with these problems Axial has had, especially since Horizon took over. I have had 3 SCX10 II’s and they were great, I still have one of them. I have the SCX10 III kit which is not my favorite by far, I actually had a missing screw that holds one of the mirrors in place. Personally as far as surface goes I’m a Traxxas fan, Horizon has never really earned my loyalty, especially not surface.
