In case you cannot tell I love hunting with Zach and Logan. I got to go elk hunting in Wyoming with them this year and even though I did not get one I am still smiling every time I think about it!!
I love this Podcast. The deer stories are always the best. My brothers and I always have these chats after every hunt. It is the biggest part of the hunt. Funny story. This year first day of rifle season I was in my blind listening to the "Lockdown Bucks" podcast with Jake and Zach with a earbud in one ear. I was watching two little bucks spar and a big buck came and chased them around. The buck moved off about 80 yards and stood there. I grunted a few times and he walked off. Then I saw him headed to me. One of the little bucks is 5 yards from me watching like me this nice buck coming back. All of a sudden a bigger buck attacked the first big buck. They fought for about 3 or 4 times back and forth. Then another 8 point (smaller) pushed a doe by them and in front of me. The first buck (the one I shot) chases both of them and the biggest buck went off out of sight. The buck I shot presented an opportunity and I shot him. I am sitting there shaking and I realize I am still listening to the podcast. I start laughing and call my brother, what a story this year.
Best podcast yet to me. I’m the same age as your dad Zach and in the 90’s I had some similar moments. Just listening to you to talk. I don’t get tired of it. Love this !
Told you a week or so ago went down you know what county . Saw 2 of my biggest bucks in 5 minutes & 4 others no shots I wasn't set up right!!! Alll my fault !!! The bucks are coming back to that area .
Really enjoy hearing you and your dad recalling your hunting times together . Make sure to hunt as many times as you can every year , My favorite times hunting was with my family.

My dad has a crazy story about a michigan buck with 9 points on his left side, this was a great listen while cutting up my buck.
