Love ur vibe It's refreshing to see ppl enjoy just good old country music I use to skate to this at the rink back in the day Along with Disco & Classic Rock The part of this song is the dude playing banjos It has that ragtime feel
My Glen Campbell trifecta in no particular order is Wichita Lineman, Galveston and By The Time I Get To Phoenix. It’s gonna be 4 years since he passed. He is a legend.
Galveston is a favorite of mine. One of my favorite trips I ever took was to Galveston, TX. Beautiful place, best soul food I've ever had from Soul 2 Soul there.
I too grew up with Glen loved all his songs. Wichita lineman is my favorite. I was listening to Kate Smith and Liberace when I was 5 friends knew I would be out in 30 mins when the shows were over. I have records ragtime, jazz, polka, country, rock n roll, to many to list. Plus some 78s from the folks
Certainly remember this song. One thing some don't know about Glen is he was an LA session guitarist in the 60s. A part of a large group of studio musicians known as The Wrecking Crew. He played on a number of records during that time.
Damn brother, you laying it on thick! My mom HATED Glen Campbell and I loved him so. I’d listen to him whenever I could, but I had to make sure she couldn’t hear it or I’d have to turn it off. Shameful, because he had such a unique, groovy sound. Thank you so much, I haven’t heard this in a long time.

This song was originally by New Orleans musician Allen Toussaint

Nice 👍 glad you chose him.
Pure perfection. Thank you.I hope you continue on this journey through classic rock.
Written by the great New Orleans master Allen Toussaint, R.I.P.
One of the regulars on the radio... awww the memories
The singer I've listened to most, over the years.....always brings back good memories.....
Thank you for the trip down memory lane.
Great reaction Michael! Thank you for being eclectic in your musical taste!

This song was written by a good friend of mine's uncle who shares the same name, Allen Toussaint.

We in Florida love Glen. Thanks for bringing memories of my departed Dad's favorite singer
Always loved this song. Glen sounds different in this song, then most of his songs that I remember.

Glenn Campbell could sing the phone book and it would be great. I love Galveston and Wichita Lineman.

For a very sombre Glen Campbell song, you could try 'I'm Not Gonna Miss You' his last song
This is going to sound terrible, but I feel like the few years on either side of "Every Which Way But Loose" was the best time for country music.
👍
This is Popeye, I believe he didn't get enough credit for his career! Just my opinion, God Bless!
