I never did body building, but I did compete in powerlifting for a decade. We had "geared" and "raw", geared was wearing shirts and sleeves that enhance your lifts, raw was just a belt pretty much. We got tested, so as far as I know everyone was natural. That is how I look at enhanced vs natty though, nothing wrong to me with enhanced, it should be a separate competition from natural though.

There is. I've competed at an INBA drug tested competition. Surprisingly, a woman tested positive, and we found out 2 weeks after the competition ended. There is a "hall of shame" on the INBA website of everyone who tested positive, their full name, picture, and event the substances and amounts they tested positive for. It's mindblowing enhanced athletes would sign up to the most strict drug tested bodybuilding league. I myself weight a mere 148lb at my height at 5'08.5", yet reached 8% body fat natural. I prefer to weight 165lb when I don't compete on stage.
When you get close to a few gym bros it is shocking to hear so many juicers look like they lift once or twice a week on an irregular basis. There are 3-4 guys I know they look exactly the same for the last 3 years that I knew them. You must understand your body and muscles building fundamentals, as well as nutrition/macro/calorie intake and rest/recovery. Otherwise no drug can make a difference in your journey.
Tbf if you've ever done gear, there is an argument to be made that it's worth taking even if you don't care about your physique. Everyone responds differently but it's not uncommon to stop neuroticism, anxiety, shyness/meekness, and make you better at sex lol. I know dudes who got a promotion at work towards the end of their first cycle because the drive and positive aggression made them better at their job.
