Great selection and thank you for zooming in to the plants. That helps a lot. We love gardenias and have tried so many times to grow them but none have ever survived once brought indoors.

Thanks for the feedback! We will try to do more close-ups on the plants in future videos.
Re-Gardenias: Yes, unfortunately some plants are tricky to keep inside over the winter. We recommend treating them as annuals, and enjoying their wonderful flowers during the spring, summer and early fall.

I am going to definitely try some of these perrinials! I want the rose! I have bad luck with gardenia too, I discovered the ‘Maid of Orleans (Jasmin Sambac? ). It has unique flowers that are scented similar to gardenia, imo. A lovely scent so strong, when just one flower opens the entire patio is perfumed. I bring them inside and have seen them live about 5 years . ( tropical)

@@DanceonthePedals You’re right we do have a jasmine plant and it is very fragrant. Ours are also at least 5 years old and we have to keep trimming it back because it wants to climb or spread out beyond our 14” container. We have many fragrant roses too but we just love the fragrance from a gardenia.
