The Best Trails at Glentress | Tweedlove Local Enduro Course Preview!

- Welcome to Glentress MTB trails and a full course preview of the Tweedlove Local Enduro 2021. This particular ride takes in 5 of the best trails in Glentress; Ho Chi Minh, Trailfairy Plan, Hush Hush, Broon Troot and the blacks with Ponduro.
If you are new to my videos then expect to see high quality riding vlogs shot in the same style as McTrail Rider, Paul the Punter and BKXC. I try to travel to the best MTB locations in Scotland finding you the best mountain biking trails.
This mountain biking MTB / enduro POV video was shot in.. The video was shot on a GoPro Hero 7 mounted on the chin of a Met Parachute helmet using a Gnartec mount.

Thanks mate. TFP is a really tough trail. I've always found it a wee bit overwhelming if I'm honest. I'm always pleased when I make it down in one piece!

Nice vid dude. Glad to see theyve opened the trench up a bit on sideB. i had written that trail off as basically unrideable, but may go have a spin on it again. but that combo with Bside, then across into hush hush, broon troot, into ewok, the bitch then supersteep is utterly world class.
Yeah. It's just a great route. I'm with you on getting that rut opened. In bad condition that thing is legit terrifying!

You said it. Almost perfect conditions to be fair. Just enough damp in the soil to give it maximum grip 🤘
Great vid, nice wee change to ur normal. Think the course preview worked really well, Tweedlove should book u for the next race as well. When I was at Glentress on Wednesday night I was lucky enough to stumble across stage 3 & 5, all taped and ready to go, so gave them a wee run. So much fun, hush hush and ponduro 👌 love them!!

Had a great time down there, the fact I had a lot longer than expected was such a bonus. Shame it’s a 7 hour drive. Hopefully I can get another trip down there this year apart from the King and queen of this hill race that I am booked onto, looking forward to ur course preview for that race !

Nice mate. Yeah, the rain has been pretty constant. I think the trails will recover pretty well though as overall it's been a pretty dry May 👍

I am not I'm afraid. Downside of having the course knowledge is that it isn't really in the racing spirit for me to race. I'm actually hoping to head to the Golfie tomos for a quick spin 😁
Another sick video, you should come up to Fairlie sometime to check out the trails there, there aren't many of them but they're all really good, defo worth checking out.

Thanks Charlie. I actually road well enough aside from stage 4, Broon Troot. I think the tiredness was kicking in a bit and that trail is just awkward. I always think you haemorrhage time down that trail as soon as the first mistake is made.
@@streetpigeonmtb I’ve not ‘raced’ but just from riding it’s often hard to gain momentum quickly after a mistake or two. Puts you off your rhythm

Off to GT on Sunday to recce the GT 7 route, but definitely going to link up these trails while we're at it - though on the short travel bikes, for the extra spice!

I unknowingly rode the last 2 stages yesterday actually, Ewok down to Ponduro were all taped up but Broon Trout wasn't, conditions were mint yesterday. I wonder if it'll stay dry for race day lol
Nice. The rain is pretty heavy just now but I wreckon it'll get absorbed fairly quickly. I'd forgotten what a beast Trailfairy Plan is!

@@streetpigeonmtb I done Trail Fairy Plan about a month ago, it's a major improvement since the last time I rode it last year, but it's still very heart in the mouth on a few sections. I wouldn't like to try ride it at race pace though!

Thanks mate. You did see the media mod on the 9 however... The audio is still crap! In all the videos I still overlay any 9 footage with audio from my 7 🤦♂️ The media mod stopped the audio popping I had but replaced it with audio that sounds like it's been recorded underwater. I could get an external mic but TBH it's just hassle. My hopes are pinned on the Hero 10 as there doesn't seem to be any rival cameras on the way 👍

Yeah. Honestly, I think the 9 is best avoided. Not a fan I'm afraid 😔
@@streetpigeonmtb I’ve actually got the 9. But I went from the 7 to the 9 because of the stabilisation and missed out the 8. What do you think of your colours before you colour grade? I’ve found them really saturated so not had to do a lot with them. Some of the clips were a bit greenish? I’ve done a few tweaks and they’re not so bad. Hopefully the 10 will be a big improvement.
Yeah, the colours are quite rich but like you say, means you don't have to play. Do you lock your white balance? If not give that a go. It's a better solution. 5500k is just about perfect for all Scottish rides 👍

It's called Trailfairy Plan. You get to it off the mast at Glentress. In my opinion it's the gnarliest at GT 👍

Hi mate. I'm afraid I can't help you with that. Your hardware will come equipped with certain Codecs. If you are missing one you may need to purchase it from a Windows / Apple store etc.

It's not an app, just a programme that helps decode a signal. Are you trying to watch on TH-cam or have you downloaded a file?
