Textile Artist Website Portfolio Tour

- I am so excited to share with you this project I've been working on for quite a few weeks now- I embroidered my entire portfolio website! (in the midst of moving across the world to start grad school- more on that later).
In this video, I take you through a tour of my super graphic ultra modern portfolio website that I made using Readymag (not sponsored, but I wish it was as they have all my love and affection). I feel like I finally have a website that feels like me, just in time to start grad school and be self-conscious that my work is not good enough and I don't deserve to be here (just kidding!) (maybe...)

just a small note is that the text is sometimes hard to read when over similar colour portions in the background. you might like to experiment with contrasting outlines

@@micheller3251 me too I agree! I debated for a while if I wanted to go in this direction for fear of not seeming “professional” but then I thought that this would bring the right people to me :)

THIS IS SOOOO GENIUS! i’ve been wanting to incorporate mixed media into my portfolio and as a lover of fabric and textiles (although my medium is video and photo) i wanted to incorporate those someway but didn’t know where to start, i just knew i had to scan something somewhere in the process. if you don’t mind sharing what platform you used to create the website i’d be really appreciative
@@wakneeta I used readymag! I found it pretty easy to use and gave me the flexibility to build out the pages I needed :)
