Textile Artist Website Portfolio Tour
I am so excited to share with you this project I've been working on for quite a few weeks now- I embroidered my entire portfolio website! (in the midst of moving across the world to start grad school- more on that later).
In this video, I take you through a tour of my super graphic ultra modern portfolio website that I made using Readymag (not sponsored, but I wish it was as they have all my love and affection). I feel like I finally have a website that feels like me, just in time to start grad school and be self-conscious that my work is not good enough and I don't deserve to be here (just kidding!) What a unique and creative website! Looking at it in the video I'm concerned with it being not very accessible, as some have already pointed out (font is difficult to read, and does not have enough contrast to it's background). The menu, navigation and scroll direction is creative, but I wonder if works on mobile? I'd hate for someone to not explore your portfolio due to technical difficulties, so these are some things to consider :)
