I'm not against conventional engines, but it's so refreshing to enjoy a car's performance without loudly broadcasting it to everyone. They please my introvertion. EVs are just so satisfying in general to drive. In my opinion, of course.
Unbelievably underrated vehicle, especially for what you can pick these up for on the used market. We sold our 2022 Model Y (4680, Austin built) and purchased a gently used 2023 Evovle+ AWD and it's better in every way. If you haven't looked at one and your in the market it's worth checking it out!
I like your style in the way you review this vehicle. One thing I would have liked to seen that you may have done but just didn't put in the video is route planning. Did you experience route planning with this and if so how was it compared to other EV's like does it give you all the information of the planned charge stops?

@@PaulsPlace thank you man, my car is currently in the shop since im supercharging my v6 and i wanna record a pov drive video once i get it back and ceramic coated.
The Platinum+ level trim cost too much for what it actually delivers. You get much better value with the Evolve+ trim. And you get a weight saving and range improvement, while keeping the 389hp with the e-4orce AWD and 0-60 in 4.8 sec.
It might be quieter than the VW ID Pro for 2024 (freashly re-designed) but is there any way you can grab hold of a 2022 or 2023 IONIQ 5 and compare the sound/cabin levels? I know the 2022 IONIQ 5 is much quieter according to someone who has recently reviewed both and owns both on TH-cam, but I'm curious about this Nissan, because unlike the IONIQ 5, it does not have a faulty charging port defect/recall in place, and it qualifies for the EV Tax Credit for used EV's beginning 1 Jan 2025, which the 2024 VW won't quality for, since it's not two years old and maybe never will, if the EV credits are eliminated by the Trump Presidency and not available for use after 2023 model years :
Note: Fascinating and very rare test between Nissan ARIYA and the Infamous IONIQ 5 (Pre-2025 redesign) th-cam.com/video/AZL858d20C0/w-d-xo.html (professionally done with some tongue and cheeck comedy)
I understand where you're coming from, but I think it's important to look beyond brand stereotypes. Badge snobbery can sometimes prevent us from appreciating the true value and quality of a car. Personally, I would drive a Nissan without hesitation (and I almost did before purchasing my Civic, Honda had better offers at the time). It's all about finding a vehicle that meets your needs and preferences, regardless of the brand's market perception. Thanks for watching!

I agree , a loud engine has its place but driving around town even in a hybrid it is a pleasure to be quiet in the cabin

I did not unfortunately, I use my phone mainly for that.
Does the ProPilot-2 work on city streets, like the ID.4?
what equipment do you use for pov videos?

But it is a Nissan, a brand that sells mostly to the subprime market!

Nissan is discontinuing it.
I don’t see that anywhere, and when I look on the website it appears that they’re giving it the NACS charge port for the 2025 model year.
@ Yes and after 2025 it will be discontinued. My wife works for Nissan.
@@RONderluck that’s a bummer, it’s actually a great EV.
@@PaulsPlace you think so? Go look at the depreciation of it. You can get a 2023 model with less than 10,000 miles for $22,000.
@@RONderluckI bought the 2023 Ariya Engage for $25k for less than 8k miles. I thought it’s a steal.
