I love our Precept 31UL! The floor plan is why we chose it because we hope to fulltime in it soon. Our kitchen has a pullout peninsula so we have even more countertop.
Love how you could sit in the theater seating the dinette or lay on the bed with the slides in. fully functional if need be that is a deal maker for sure.
✔ Nice countertop space in kitchen and bath ✔ Nice kitchen storage ✔ Televator ❌ Difficult storage under bed & banquet seats If you want washer/dryer combo, you lose one wardrobe?? ❌ Hate valances, but like light cabinets ✔ Big shower MSRP will be well over $200k when you add theater seats
I wish there was a place for a combo washer dryer. And a glazed shower door. And those valences are such an eyesore (I totally agree with Andrea). I love the size, the sleeping capacity, would switch to a trifold sofa for the kiddos but looooove the televator position! Gorgeous
I have a 2021 and love the kitchen ( micro wave is higher than one reviewed) , bath area and large living area all are separate. Being only 33 ft long I can park it anywhere. I have optional four door combo fridge with propane and the inverter that engine alternator keeps it cold while driving. Also has the on piece rear cap. Has 6000 lb cargo capacity rating. No problem with watching Tv while eating( eat in the power recliners. )
I think it’s pretty well outfitted for such a small RV. I personally don’t like the combo washer dryer, I prefer a stackable. And I agree with Andrea, I don’t like the valances. I do like the kitchen, and I do like having an oven. I must say my favorite thing about the motorhome is the reviewers! You guys are great, keep doing what you do. I find it informative and entertaining. I’m not quite ready to buy yet, but I’m thinking about it.
Yes, stackable is nicer, but you'd lose the entire closet then, pretty much... A combo down low you're just losing some drawer space, can keep most of closet.
Yes! Another door to get to the black and gray dump, smart. Great that the bed is usable with slides in. Love the shower size. Needs a washer/ dryer hookup, larger and set up higher dash screen for back up and navigation, and bigger oven.
Pretty nice. Likes: opposing slideouts, televator and tv location, kitchen, king bed. Dislikes: could be easier to access storage under dinette, wow I couldn't find anything else....maybe that the bathroom door doesn't open all the way to block off shower?
This might be put on our short list. One thing I absolutely don't like is the split bathroom. I see water all in the hallway and someone will be trapped in the bedroom until the shower is free. I like that the bed does not fold. The window by the dinette could be bigger. I don't like the placement of the microwave, looks like cooking in a cave and the pots and pans might bang on the underside everytime you lift them off the stove. I do LOVE the residential fridge!
I don’t hate the valences. But they are definitely not farmhouse. More southwest or Santa Fe than anything. But the rest of the interior is amazing. Maybe if they made some wooden valances out of barn wood or something…
Finally!!!! An RV with slides in and a usable bed. Matt! what are you talking about, that easily looked like a prime pooping position? Also, looking at the area where Shower and bathroom is, maybe the RV company can create and option a pocket door so shower and bathroom can be used at same time with privacy.
What problem does a pocket door solve? If someone is in the shower you still can't get to the toilet without seeing in the shower. Use privacy glass for the shower then the toilet door only needs to be swung around when entering and exiting the shower and the toilet is available when someone is in the shower.
I love the kitchen plenty of room. Also love the tires and the bathroom. Matt thank you for showing us all these great RV'S and Motor Homes.I will be watching tomorrow.
My dislikes are with slides is not much room to walk. That’s the only thing I had a dislike on. My likes are the refrigerator the counter tops and in exterior color outside. It is very nice for a small Class A. Thank you Matt abs Andrea and Rv One.
My husband has no issues using his cpap. Puts it on the small shelf, and uses an outlet by the bed. We have had no bathroom privacy issues. There is plenty of room to use the toilet with the door closed instead of having it in the other open position. With the door shutting off the living area from the shower, you have a lot of room when you get out of the shower because you can use the hall, the toilet area and the bedroom -like a master suite. A separated bathroom also has given us so much bathroom storage with the size of the cabinet and counter and 3 drawers. No open shelves for towels by the toilet, which is gross. We use one of the large drawers in the bedroom for towels. Now that we have figured out the on-demand water heater, it is amazing to be able to take a decent length shower so I can get my hair washed without running out of hot water. The kitchen storage is fine if you add metal shelves so there are two levels. Someone commented you can't use the sink with the slides in, but yes you can. You still have 1/2 of the sink available. No rv can have everything for everybody, but the 31UL is darn close to perfect for its size.
I love this !!! It is so perfect for myself. Plenty of space and I love everything about it. there is always a remedy for a door for privacy for the MBathroom.
I like the layout, I like the overhead bed at 750 lbs, I like the televator and the big fridge. I think they could have put a convection microwave, agree about the valances and lack of pocket privacy door. Nice counter space and bedroom storage- maybe spruce up the bed headboard area,, some reading lights, etc. It looked pretty plain in the video. Not sure about the outside TV location, wasn’t clear to me exactly where that was but seemed to the rear and right by the water heater- not sure how loud those heaters are…. Definitely a nice rig and worth a good look for anyone looking at this level of RV. I like that you can configure it!!
For fulltiming people less than 6'1". Matt made the theater seat look small. And the bed is a short "king" bed. Small ppp position . Full time requires some comfort features. And over 6'1" has none of the prime comfort features. And yes I'm 6'6" and looking for a unit with some basic comfort features.
I like the precept 31UL. Nice lay out and love the full body paint. Only problem I see is when watching TV in the living room when it's dinner time. How are you suppose to watch TV. Everyone will be sitting at the table. I'm just saying
We love our combo washer/dryer. Would not want a stackable w/d. Combo takes up less space. Put clothes in and when the combo unit is done, clothes are dry and ready to fold and put away.
I greatly appreciate your reviews. I started following your channel about 8 months ago. So MANY different coaches to see. We are not full time RV'ers but have made 9 month long trips over the past 18 months. Your reviews helped us decide to move from our 2014 Forest River forester to a 2022 small class A. I won't say the brand but it was something you reviewed prior to going independent. We are happy with our coach , having purchased in July, and thank you and Andrea for helping us make the decision.
For such a massive CCC and sturdy chassis, why the puny 5000 lb hitch? Lack of bathroom privacy an issue. Narrow passage to cab when slides are in is a big safety issue. Overall really well done, edges competitors at that price point.
Hey guys my wife and I are really enjoying the shirt and pullover we bought from you. I’m not sure how much longer I will be watching your videos because I feel the dream of owning an RV and travelling Canada and the US is finished. My pain level and health is just too bad to see me traveling every day. It was fun guys. Love from Frank & Terry in Canada. Cheers!!!
:( I am sorry to hear this Frank and Terry! Even though you might not be traveling you can still watch the show! Please email me your address Ill have Andrea mail you some stickers
The ' theater seats" have a short back you'll need a pillow for a headrest to watch TV The passenger seat is a fail - cant recline No washer dryer ( did it even have a hook up ready to go?) no pocket door for bathroom Jayco " lets put adjustable shelves in ONE cabinet " I just can't figure that way of thinking out no cut out for the power cord - door has to stay open really LOUD They WAY over do the farmhouse paint ...it looks dirty. The TV was nice
I sure like this one. Hard to find dislikes. I am in total agreement with Andrea.Nix to the valences. Other than that, I pretty much liked everything else about this motor home.
One thing to watch for in the split bathrooms: make sure that the door that swings open to separate the bath from the living area doesn’t have 3 hinges like this one. If you sit on the toilet and swing the door open for privacy, anyone in the kitchen can look through the opening where the hinges are, and see you on the toilet. You want that door to have piano hinges like our class C
Like that it has some solar; would put 4 or 5 more panels up there, though. Agree with peninsula kitchen counter space decent, but could use more pantry storage. With the dual slides the overhead bunk more roomy looking than many. Would prefer 6 smaller drawers and a combo w/d by shower. No pet window by front seat. Awning should be long enough to extend over front slide. Would prefer convection microwave and the 2 propane, 1 induction cooktop. When is Furrion or Magic Chef coming out with 2 propane/2 induct on ovens, just wondering?
What do you consider the best class a gas motorhome for full time as far as construction? We have also noticed the cargo carry capacities are going up. What are they taking out to give us more CCC? Do they make remotes for the televater?
I was about to post the same thing! That back corner would be perfect for a coffee maker but didn't look like there was a single power outlet in the kitchen area! Oh, they also need to get.eid of that hideous valance fabric. That is in no way a "farmhouse" style.
Matt and Andrea have done a fabulous job again! Love this farmhouse decor! Andrea is right about the valances, they are not in keeping with the farmhouse theme!
We have a class c Jayco and just had some warranty work done at the factory , they were wonderful to deal with. Matt and Andrea you two are the best , keep up the good work Love watching you both ❤️👍
We bought the 2020 31UL in March (Our valances are more neutral, thank goodness, and have a higher quality bedspread and headboard then the one in the video). The frameless windows look pretty slick, but only open out maybe 2 inches, which is pretty useless for airflow. Love the extra 2 drawers in the bedroom instead of a window and dresser top. The cupboard under the sink is hard to open without knobs so we added them. ( but beware where you place them as we had a 1/4" leeway or the knob would have hit the stove when the slide is put in.) But, SO much inside storage and kitchen counter tops. And the frig is amazing. The floor space is more then adequate. We just got back from a trip that had 6 adults and 2, four year olds eating inside because of cold weather and it was just fine with the front seats turned around and the table put up between the seats. So, whats not to love about this model except those darn valances in the video!
Once I saw that I would be able to get one of these without a bunk over the cab, I was sold! I'm a ways away from being ready to purchase, but if I choose a Class A motorhome, THIS make and model is my choice!! Love the lounge seating and the fact that it has an oven. I would love to see a review of this model in the 2024 version without the bunk over the cab! There's nothing I don't like about this motorhome except I feel there may be some bells and whistles missing because of the steering wheel (I would want ALL the bells and whistles). JAYCO outdid themselves with this one!!!
Love you reviews on these class A's. This is what we're looking forward to in the future for us. Love the little comedy you put into it but we also Love the MSRP pricing and more importantly when they go on sale. Thank you for all you do and all the info
Ahh yes! This is the one I’ve been waiting for. Thank you for making this review so quickly. This has been a floor plan I have really been considering but there aren’t really any good videos of it and it’s always great hearing you guys’ opinions on the good and the bad. Thank you again. Keep up the great work.
Storage is really nice on this unit. Love the Farmhouse look in kitchen. Slam latches always a plus. Driver and Pass seats look really comfortable. Nice Theater Seats too.
I just looked at the 2021 version of this motorhome today, but it was so hot (105) that I hurried through the tour. I so appreciate your review and pro/cons and most especially....that I could leisurely watch and study in 70 degree comfort. We may be buying this tomorrow.
Likes: Full body paint and fiberglass roof, 750# bunk over the cab, and king bed is useable with the slides in. Dislikes: No stackable washer/dryer, bedroom is tight, and the kitchen sink is not useable with the slides in.
Nice outside storage! Nice cockpit! Nice that slides can be in and rig is usable! Bonus:Love TV placement Not a fan of mid-entry entry! Not a fan of microwave vs convection oven Not a fan of bathroom ‘door’ Not a fan of split-bathroom! (Just me) Those are my likes and dislikes! Overall, a nice rig
My current class A (from 1991) is 33 feet and the floor plan, minus the slides, is almost like this. My family would be totally at home in the motorhome. Despite being a $13,000 option, I like the full-body paint It is very roomy when the slides are in but I really like that is a usable when the slides are in. I guess if I had to find dislikes, it would be the southwestern valences and the GPS/radio appears to be very low. Great video as usual. Thanks guys!
There needs to be a plug-in by that corner between the sink and the stovetop. That’s a perfect place for your coffeemaker or Instapot/Foodi. On the plus side, I like that the outside storage doors open sideways so you don’t bonk your head, and it does look like a livable RV.
Am not an 'A' guy, but, this unit is very nice, barring the valances! Where did the Washer/Dryer go? Great Vid, and you are the man, dragging your extended posterior up on the roof!
She’s purdy. Love the farm house decor, all that storage and full body paint colors. Agree on the door for the bathroom and privacy. Andrea needs a brp brp brp brrrrp before answering the valence question 😂. Good job 👍 guys for bringing us so much valuable information
I like this layout the best. Like you said nothing to dislike really. Thanks for having Andrea with you on your reviews. Between the 2 of you we get a complete review from 2 view points.
Well, are there outlets on the kitchen counter? I do like all the drawers & cabinets. But should have drawers under dinette seats. Can you get queen bed with larger bedside tables with lighting & usb ports?
That hard-to-get-to underbed storage is what I'd fill up with all the lithium batteries I could fit (to go with all the additional solar panels I'd add to the roof).
How come you never leave the bunk over cab bed down when you show the living room?. Would love to see the hold area when in use. Love watching your video.
Good point on the pocket doors Andrea. I wish the manufacturers would use them more often - they are a space saver and in an RV there’s limited space. Use them!
What problem does a pocket door solve? If someone is in the shower you still can't get to the toilet without seeing in the shower. Use privacy glass for the shower then the toilet door only needs to be swung around when entering and exiting the shower and the toilet is available when someone is in the shower.
Likes: 0) rock solid Ford drivetrain; 1) General interior layout is fantastic; 2) tankless hotwater; 3) Tank sizes are good; 4) 22.5in tires - nice. 5) Giant fridge; 6) 30x36 shower; 7) Dislikes: 1) Towing. Come on give use at least 8000 pounds; 2) Queen not a king, come on 74x70? I am 75in long so the 80in King length makes a diff; 3) cannot find a third. Y'all had to pick hard to find the three dis's
Do you have any sales partners in Canada? I have heard that if I bring an RV purchased in the USA to Canada (I am a Canadian resident) that it will void any warranties. Can you confirm or advise further please. I love this one by the way. Great storage capabilities. What kind of driver's licence do you need for this rig? Gas mileage? Thank you
This is a great layout, but Dislikes: TV angle to captain seats(driver and passenger), price, no outdoor storage for chairs/screen room Likes, Layout, interior storage, Residential refrigerator (impossible to move out if needs)
Hey Matt, in my Country we Don't have RV's/Motorhomes, but I Am Looking at getting one, so can you Explain the Power Amp Cord for me please ❔Thanks much in Advance 👍🏾
I love the coach. I think the slide rooms could've been built better and not so cramped. Other than that, Amazing work that Jayco did. I love the floor plan but could've been spacious. I love the combo washer dryer. I love the storage. The only thing that I don't like about it because it's so hard with the coaches I love is the kitchen set up could've been better.
I love this floorplan. I agreed with all your likes and love that the bed is accessible. Those valances? Hideous. That is the ugliest fabric and I don't know why they keep using it. It's so ugly it makes me laugh. Looks like something from a cheesy summer camp. 😆
The valances are sort of Santa Fe for a farmhouse theme... otherwise VERY NICE! My last full size RV was a used Monaco Serengeti. It was forty foot long. I would never buy an RV that old again though. Too many problems.
RV pet peeve. Recliners with nothing to rest your head against. Do you realize how tired your neck is going to be if you try to watch a movie in one of those theater seats?
More modern motor homes these days have accommodations for a CPAP machine. This one doesn’t. My Emblem doesn’t either, and I think it is a big negative. I am borderline sleep apnea, so I have a CPAP, but can get away without it for a few days, but heavy duty users really need a better way to deal with that than an extension cord and drilling a hole for the tube in the overhead storage. Wake up Jayco/Entegra!!!!!
I love our Precept 31UL! The floor plan is why we chose it because we hope to fulltime in it soon. Our kitchen has a pullout peninsula so we have even more countertop.
My dislike is that it is missing a doggy window on the passenger side. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
Love how you could sit in the theater seating the dinette or lay on the bed with the slides in. fully functional if need be that is a deal maker for sure.
✔ Nice countertop space in kitchen and bath
✔ Nice kitchen storage
✔ Televator
❌ Difficult storage under bed & banquet seats
If you want washer/dryer combo, you lose one wardrobe??
❌ Hate valances, but like light cabinets
✔ Big shower
MSRP will be well over $200k when you add theater seats
I wish there was a place for a combo washer dryer. And a glazed shower door. And those valences are such an eyesore (I totally agree with Andrea). I love the size, the sleeping capacity, would switch to a trifold sofa for the kiddos but looooove the televator position! Gorgeous
I have a 2021 and love the kitchen ( micro wave is higher than one reviewed) , bath area and large living area all are separate.

Yes, stackable is nicer, but you'd lose the entire closet then, pretty much... A combo down low you're just losing some drawer space, can keep most of closet.
Agreed, the valances are super ugly
Yes! Another door to get to the black and gray dump, smart. Great that the bed is usable with slides in. Love the shower size. Needs a washer/ dryer hookup, larger and set up higher dash screen for back up and navigation, and bigger oven.
Matt- you are wrong about the stress of finding a campsite. It can be stressful. Andrea phrased it perfectly.
Yes definitely. Check them out they do most of the work for you if your looking at state and national parks☺️
Thanks Matt and Andrea!
I loved the review. As a travel nurse it would be perfect for full time living. Thanks. Keep up the great videos.

👏 here here! Lol how many times will it take before they change it.

please start listing the specs in the heading again. That is super important to a lot of followers.
I love the kitchen plenty of room. Also love the tires and the bathroom. Matt thank you for showing us all these great RV'S and Motor Homes.I will be watching tomorrow.

We love our combo washer/dryer. Would not want a stackable w/d. Combo takes up less space. Put clothes in and when the combo unit is done, clothes are dry and ready to fold and put away.
This is like a Matt’s RVs Reviews old school review. I love this unit.

The ' theater seats" have a short back you'll need a pillow for a headrest to watch TV
The passenger seat is a fail - cant recline
No washer dryer ( did it even have a hook up ready to go?)
no pocket door for bathroom
Jayco " lets put adjustable shelves in ONE cabinet " I just can't figure that way of thinking out
no cut out for the power cord - door has to stay open
really LOUD
They WAY over do the farmhouse paint ...it looks dirty.
The TV was nice
I sure like this one. Hard to find dislikes. I am in total agreement with Andrea.Nix to the valences. Other than that, I pretty much liked everything else about this motor home.
Nice Class A! I like it....Thanks

So I saw there was a washer/dryer option, do you lose one of the wardrobes? I do like the farmhouse colors except the balance. Super nice!
I agree about needing pocket doors on both sides of the bathroom.
I'm not a fan of the dinette either, would rather have bar or a 2nd sofa.
Nice unit. Thanks Andrea and Matt!
What do you consider the best class a gas motorhome for full time as far as construction? We have also noticed the cargo carry capacities are going up. What are they taking out to give us more CCC? Do they make remotes for the televater?
This is supper close wow love it not much storage with small cupbards.
I didn’t see any outlets in the kitchen. Yes the backsplash is nice, but where do you plug anything in?
I was about to post the same thing! That back corner would be perfect for a coffee maker but didn't look like there was a single power outlet in the kitchen area!
Oh, they also need to get.eid of that hideous valance fabric. That is in no way a "farmhouse" style.
@@catmom6 they are usually up under the cabinets
There are multiple outlets under the upper cabinets
Matt and Andrea have done a fabulous job again! Love this farmhouse decor! Andrea is right about the valances, they are not in keeping with the farmhouse theme!

Yet another deal maker the television directly across the theater seating has to be that way

Driver and Pass seats look really comfortable.
Nice Theater Seats too.
Like water purifiers, ice maker fridge and freezer
I just looked at the 2021 version of this motorhome today, but it was so hot (105) that I hurried through the tour. I so appreciate your review and pro/cons and most especially....that I could leisurely watch and study in 70 degree comfort. We may be buying this tomorrow.
Likes:
Full body paint and fiberglass roof, 750# bunk over the cab, and king bed is useable with the slides in.
Dislikes:
No stackable washer/dryer, bedroom is tight, and the kitchen sink is not useable with the slides in.
Nice outside storage!
Nice cockpit!
Nice that slides can be in and rig is usable!
Bonus:Love TV placement
Not a fan of mid-entry entry!
Not a fan of microwave vs convection oven
Not a fan of bathroom ‘door’
Not a fan of split-bathroom! (Just me)
Those are my likes and dislikes! Overall, a nice rig
We are about to purchase a used 2018 Jayco Precept 33U this week. What I found on this unit as a negative was that the fridge access space was tight.
My current class A (from 1991) is 33 feet and the floor plan, minus the slides, is almost like this. My family would be totally at home in the motorhome.
Despite being a $13,000 option, I like the full-body paint
It is very roomy when the slides are in but I really like that is a usable when the slides are in.
There's 2 handles missing on the lower kitchen cabinets....lol.
PRc EpTT😀DAvlD
❤ 750 lbs over cab bunk
❤ over head storage in cab
❤ very nice motorhome.
I am a fan of the 29UR
And someone can cook and do things in the kitchen or anywhere else without being in the way of the view of the TV from the theater seating
Yes the kitchen is over from the dinette so you wouldn’t be in the way of the tv 👍
Am not an 'A' guy, but, this unit is very nice, barring the valances! Where did the Washer/Dryer go? Great Vid, and you are the man, dragging your extended posterior up on the roof!
We love our current Jayco C class motorhome
She’s purdy. Love the farm house decor, all that storage and full body paint colors. Agree on the door for the bathroom and privacy. Andrea needs a brp brp brp brrrrp before answering the valence question 😂. Good job 👍 guys for bringing us so much valuable information
As I drive an 18 wheeler I look motorhomes .. sometimes the motor home looks faded. I assume not full body paint
Thanks for showing it with the slides in
That hard-to-get-to underbed storage is what I'd fill up with all the lithium batteries I could fit (to go with all the additional solar panels I'd add to the roof).
What. A beautiful coach I just wish I could afford it!
Thanks for the show guys
I miss Andrea's giggle when Matt says godzila
It’s very nice. Love it. Are all class A’s extra for the above bunk?
How come you never leave the bunk over cab bed down when you show the living room?. Would love to see the hold area when in use. Love watching your video.
No washer dryer hook up? the valances yea, no privacy curtain for the over the cab bunk. otherwise a great unit.
Andrea if you ever have valances in a unit you own snd don’t like I can help you recover them.
Thank you ☺️
Good point on the pocket doors Andrea.
Another RV dripping water!😆😆😆
Needs a power reel for the 50 amp Heavy power cord.
I like this one. It has a lot of room and storage.
thumbs down to the wet bay being under the slide out. A real head banger when using the outside shower.
Likes: 0) rock solid Ford drivetrain; 1) General interior layout is fantastic; 2) tankless hotwater; 3) Tank sizes are good; 4) 22.5in tires - nice. 5) Giant fridge; 6) 30x36 shower; 7)
Dislikes: 1) Towing. Come on give use at least 8000 pounds; 2) Queen not a king, come on 74x70? I am 75in long so the 80in King length makes a diff; 3) cannot find a third.
Y'all had to pick hard to find the three dis's
Just looked at one of these today with the dover interior. Andrea would approve of the dover valances. They are much better.
Is there a dedicated pantry on the 2024 model of this RV?
The balloon fest is awesome and right in my brother in law’s neighborhood. Love NM
I agree I think the valances are ugly. But they would be easy to change.
Nice, very nice the one thing that what will keep me from buying this one is that it doesn't have a washer & dryer hookup other than that I like it.
That’s a Hot Rod.
Is this RV new? Or used? I must have missed that part… Love the color scheme inside and out!
Thank you
Could not deal with the narrow walkway with slides in.
Just my opinion but I think that size frig in this size RV is too big. Otherwise, this is a great rig.
This is a great layout, but
Dislikes: TV angle to captain seats(driver and passenger), price, no outdoor storage for chairs/screen room
Likes, Layout, interior storage, Residential refrigerator (impossible to move out if needs)
I am loco but the price is insane
🤣 one day it will change
The valances are sort of Santa Fe for a farmhouse theme... otherwise VERY NICE! My last full size RV was a used Monaco Serengeti. It was forty foot long. I would never buy an RV that old again though. Too many problems.
RV pet peeve. Recliners with nothing to rest your head against. Do you realize how tired your neck is going to be if you try to watch a movie in one of those theater seats?
I agree with Andrea about those valances. Why do they use that pattern? It makes no sense.
No potable water?
dislikes:
no longer has molded rear cap
no pantry
very narrow walkway
likes:
cargo capacity
full body paint
tv across from recliners
Ree8lllls 300
More modern motor homes these days have accommodations for a CPAP machine. This one doesn’t. My Emblem doesn’t either, and I think it is a big negative. I am borderline sleep apnea, so I have a CPAP, but can get away without it for a few days, but heavy duty users really need a better way to deal with that than an extension cord and drilling a hole for the tube in the overhead storage. Wake up Jayco/Entegra!!!!!
