Matt didn't realize at the time that the bed is so high due to the placement of the outdoor kitchen. My Loves: 1) Full-timer friendly design that still allows office workspace & still let's you get into older parks, National Parks, & older State Parks. 2) massive 145 cu ft storage + outdoor kitchen. 3) Solar prep is a great thing for a medium-size system for modest users. Dislikes: 1) Low OCCC of 1651 pounds means having to carry less water with you unless you leave a lot of full-time possessions home. 2) No upgraded 12-volt compressor fridge IPO smaller 2-way fridge due to low OCCC 3) No LiFePO4 battery option to replsce the painfully small Group-24 lead acid batteries for serious full-timers. Come on, this is the year 2020 and Dragonfly (OEM)/Battleborn had heated cool battery options that will keep us full-timers happy. I am a very big Winnebago fam, so all of my criticism is a passion of Love to help make the product better. We plan on purchasing an Adventurer 29B next summer and to make the LiFePO4 battery upgrades at that time. Cheers!

That is an awesome outdoor kitchen. I will never watch tv outside, but I will definitely cook. Great wet bay. I know everyone thinks Winnebago has plain decor, but I’ll take that over busy decor.

    3 Dislikes:
    1. Dinette. Maybe Winnebago could give us the option of a televator and breakfast bar instead of the table?
    2. Not a fan of the tv placement but I do understand it because of the size of the rv.
    3. I don't like the diy at all.
    3 Likes:
    1. The size. Love that I can go the state and national parks in this.
    2. The bathroom. Ya'll nailed it.
    3. Everything outside. The kitchen, the storage, the wet bay, the color design. Everything.
I didn't know Andrea was a part time magician... huh. The more you know.

A video on both the main and the towable channel in one night. I might overdose on RV reviews tonight, thanks Matt.
This is a cool Winnebago with sophisticated paint design
    Dislikes:
    1) wish power cord was on a reel for easier storage
    2) wish there was a window facing or L-shaped desk instead of dinette with chairs, this would open the walk-way when slides are in
    3) I would rather have cab over storage instead of the drop bed, you could then move that clunky box from over the door
    Love:
    1) the passenger side exterior design with awning and cover over outdoor kitchen. Love the side-opening slam latches and easy wet bay/ dump point
    2) love the cab / driver set-up, laptop desk and the dog window with easy to reach cupholder
    3) Absolutely love the kitchen design, especially with the induction and propane burners both. I agree with Andrea though, no wood on the fridge doors. I would rather stainless steel or even magnetic dry erase boards

So glad you all are out meeting your fans. Here are my 3 things I like and dislike
    Starting with my dislikes
    1. I don’t like that the sink cover don’t match counter top
    2. I don’t like that the control panel is out in the open
    3. I don’t like the extra tv hook up
    Three things I love
    1. The outside kitchen
    2. The bedroom
    3. The bathroom

I like that they give you a grill to go with the propane hook up

  • @NackDSP
    @NackDSP 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    1. Furnace is loud and directly under the master bed so it wakes you every time it starts. The furnace manual explicitly says never mount on the back of the RV, but they do it year after year. 2. Pull the drawers out under the sink and you will find a huge ball of wires, gas hoses, plumbing pipes that are not well secured and ready to fail when the slide is moved. 3. That dark color paint and dark AC covers are going to cook you all summer long. I wish they would go with bright white roofs one of these days. The AC ducting is in the roof, so you are cooling the roof and not the RV with the AC. The TV's are the absolute cheapest available. The coach batteries have a 90 day warrantee and may last a year. No hood or fan over the stove, so propane exhaust fills the RV when you cook with gas. Love the Induction cook top and the convection microwave.

This smaller RV packs a lot into it! Yes, a great length for accessing state parks, etc.
    My 3's:
    Dislikes:
    1. Floor vent = crumb and dog hair catchers. No!!!
    2. TV placement is hokey.
    3. Not wild about carpeted storage.
    Likes:
    1. Outdoor kitchen.
    2. Counter space.
    3. Bathroom layout and storage is well thought/designed.
Now, a question: where does everyone put their sink covers when you remove them??

    The under table storage
Dislikes - the passenger table being rounded. Cuts down on useable space

I am the owner of a pre millennium Winnebago Adventurer si I was excited to see this review. I like the doggie window, like the inside kitchen( including the faux wood finish on the fridge) and the bedroom. Instead of the dinette I would have like a small table and chairs with a televator. Not a fan of exterior TV or exterior kitchen or the drop down bed over driver cab.

The outside kitchen is very nice. And with the quick-connect, an outlet, and a slide out shelf for an induction cooktop, electric fry pan, or Insta-Pot you have multiple cooking options. I'd like to see them switch that shelf over to the sink side of the cabinet and replace it with a shallow drawer, so that you don't have to remove your cooking device in order to open the fridge.

You always mention the propane quick connect for outdoor grill, but maybe mention you can also use for an outdoor firepit to keep you warm on cold nights. I'm a newbie still (little over 3 months FT) and only just noticed other RVers doing that and found that great use of the quick connect.

    Hello all.
    Our likes:
    * The neutral colors are very easy on the eye.
    * LOVE the cutting board sink covers!!!
    * Love the pet window by the passenger seat.
    Our dislikes:
    * We know this is a small unit, but there needs to be a washer/dryer hookup somewhere - even if only combo unit.
    * The pantry would be better if it was a pull-out storage setup. Those are much easier to use than just shelves (even with little storage bins).
    * The bathroom is OK, but there needs to be another inch or two of shoulder room when using the toilet. Sadly America’s waistline and hips are constantly expanding.
    * This hasn’t become a regular feature on motor homes yet, but what about a keypad for unlocking the door? That would be a VERY convenient feature.
We wish you a great day.

Being a small Class-A RV as it is, I think a Combo Washer/Dryer would make this rig much more appealing to RVers who hate going to public laundry mats. Though the trade off with my idea would be less wardrobe storage space, I can live with it knowing that I can have the convenience of my own personal laundry space.

We just got the 2022 Winnebago Adventurer 29B (new) this week. We paid 72% of the ridiculously inflated MSRP price (manufacturers took advantage of the Covid Craziness...the same RV would have stickered for FAR LESS just 2-3 years ago). We paid just < $150k with various options noted below.
Sadly, the word is that Winnebago is discontinuing the Adventurer model in the 30' length. If you want a 30' Class A Winnebago, you will need to go with the Vista/Sunstar twins. They are a cut below the Adventurer models.
That's a darn shame, b/c our first impressions are EXCELLENT.
We wanted one in what they call the Wedgewood exterior and the Farmhouse look inside...found one in Huntsville, Al. Only thing it lacked was the theater seats, but the jacknife couch bed is quite comfortable.
Oh, we still own a truly classic 1999 40' Safari DP...too big for us now (70ish). The shorter Winnie is a bit easier to handle. We gave "the Hilton" to our daughter and her family. Will miss that 425 Cat on the road, if not the cost of diesel fuel.
We are SO IMPRESSED by the F/P layout (my wife is GREAT at studying F/P details, in homes or RV's) and sedulous attention to thoughtful details.
The fridge is all-electric (direct current) and uses little power...might even run on the 1000w solar charged batteries alone. Galley TV is fixed, but good angle. Can access main bed and bath w/slide in. Stove offers induction burner or L/P burner...the convection M/W allows for a large deep drawer (for coffee maker and toaster oven, etc.) instead of the old oven.
Has 50a service b/c of dual A/C's (a must for us). Options are limited, but we got most of them-- electronic stability control, loft bed (powered), satellite radio and TV, solar panel w/battery charger, video cameras, power cabin seats, defroster fans.
It has the now ubiquitous tailgating kitchen o/s...we don't tailgate at college games now, so would rather not have that added weight and wasted space...we get that they are popular with many. We might remove that 2nd college fridge to save the weight if we dont use it.
We are ordering a 2023 Escape Hybrid (flat towable) as our dinghy. It has the ubiquitous Ford Godzilla that ALL Class A gas models are now using. Also considered the Entegra Vision 29S (lower MSRP actually), but preferred various things about the Adventurer 29B.
We knew that some have fussed about quality control during the Covid Crazy period, so we did hire an inspector ($750) to crawl all over it. He found only minor glitches, mostly roof sealing things.
Oh, the CCC is 1,675...not great to be sure, but WAY BETTER than things like the MCB Sprinters.
No initial regrets...kudos to Winnebago so far. 😃

    1. Doggie window!!!!
    2. Outdoor kitchen.
    3. Winnebago did great with the sideways swing on the outdoor storage doors.
    The things I dislike:
    1. I agree about the wood tone fridge. Yuck.
    2. I'm not liking all the RV's with no oven and putting convection.
    3. There is such a WIDE walkway between the fridge and the restroom. Take 2 or 3 inches off that and add it to the restroom!

  • @plektosgaming
    @plektosgaming 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

NOTE - there is a sliding door on the back of the seat next to the steps that you can put shoes and outdoor things in.
NOTE #2 - The loft drops down much much lower. As in barely over 3ft high low if you recline the seats fully. As in a foot lower than most every other motor home, making it actually usable as a loft and seating space for the kids.. It stopped due to the safety feature built in.

Dislikes: way too much bedroom storage!😉 two-way fridge (12v fridge, please!) that bed is a little high, but that’s the price you pay for that outdoor kitchen. I think they made the best of it with those steps.

I like this motor home floor plan but don’t like the step up to the bed and the wood refrigerator. The rest I liked. Especially the bathroom and outside kitchen. Thank you Matt and Andrea.

Let's just say, from what I just saw, that even the sale reduced price is 33% is in need to go up to 50% in a big hurry. Matt, you couldn't slam-latch the outside doors, and I do not even know where I want to go from there. Winnebago, get it right in this industry!

Dislikes - 1. For that price I would expect leather upholstery. 2. For that price I would expect stainless appliances. 3. For that price I would expect soft closing doors/cabinets. 4. Only two burners. Likes - 1. Outdoor kitchen. 2. Overall layout and colors. 3. Nice bathroom.

Nice class A. Layout is great, bathroom very roomy, and love the outside storage and how they open sideways. I would change the cabinet color, and not a big fan of the wood panels on the refrigerator. All in all, great class A. Oh, the FBP is great!

Hey Matt & Andrea, tell your Winnebago Rep. that one of your viewers would like to see a Big Chrome "W" Emblem in the center of the Front Chrome Grill. It would add a finishing touch to the Adventurer model RV's.

One major dislike is anyone 6 foot or taller could not stand under the outdoor kitchen cover. 2nd dislike is the thing above the entrance way, again anyone 6 feet or taller would have to constantly duck.

This is a great looking motorhome! Love the paint job, outside kitchen, TV placement is good, nice dinette, kitchen with the exception of the fridge (too small), nice screen in the dash for your camera view, pretty good closet space (exceptionally good for a "camper" motorhome), nice bathroom. Wish it had theater seats, don't like that cabinet for the TV electronics like Matt, the bed is definitely too high. Thanks for a great video once again.

Love the DIY interior, it's so easy to add your own fabrics to personalize! If that TV swiveled, it'd be a great living space. Dislike the pantry...really would love to see more units with pull-out shelves. I'm short, and there's no way I can reach the back of those spaces. I like the amount of storage in the bedroom, but that step would kill me.

There is no great place to put that TV but I do like its size. I dislike the lack of an oven, the wood paneling on the refrigerator, and the water and sewage in the same place. I like the bathroom, the bedroom, and the storage.

Hey guys. Like the bigger models a lot better. Issues: fridge on the slide...wawa, small stove, TV not good angle for couch and bed is too high for us Retiree’s; not even sure what that is above the door; Likes: good inside storage, nice dinette table design and the outside kitchen is great! Thanks guys! Safe travels!

  • @johnbennett9287

We LOVE the outside of this model. Paint now awesome, storage is amazing and the outside kitchen just makes it awesome! When you look inside, that's where we lost our enthusiasm. Jackknife sofa? No...theater seats, please! TV placement is not great, especially if it's not on a swivel of some type. We have never understood the draw of "cubbies" instead of closed in storage over the cab and behind the dinette. Seems like a waste of otherwise usable storage space. The height of the bed in the bedroom was crazy high (looked to be at belly-button height on Matt). With that said, we were disappointed with the interior. We were excited with the length and the fact that it wasn't an "entry level" class A. However, we didn't see anything about this RV that supported a $132k pricetag. $90-100k? Maybe more understandable. But lost us at $132k. The Fleetwood Fortis is a similar price point and has a much higher end looking interior. Winnebago quality is amazing, but we'll pass on this one at this price point. As always, thanks for allowing us to be part of the RV Review Crew! Stay safe and take care!

Oooh vvideo Magic, you enter the RV with the awning out, outdoor kitchen open and Andrea with a beautiful sweater warding off the chill of VA, you exit awnings gone kitchen is closed and Andrea is sweater less. L: great size with a workable layout; neat cockpit and good sized bathroom; exterior paint, storage and kitchen can that Aussie grill be stored atop the fridge?; great wetbay! D: I am taller than thee that cable/satellite box will mash my head; I didn't notice it were there any lights on those bedroom steps?; the outdoor storage doors didn't seem to wanna close too very well, were you pre taste testing meet-n-greet beverages? Please stay safe you two. 😷😷😷😷

I love the storage under the bed, the outdoor kitchen, and and the full-body paint. TV should swivel, weight limit on bunk over the cab is too low, shower should be a one piece, and I prefer a King size bed.
