When I turned 50 it hit me that I had limited days left and was not happy with life the way it was. I’m looking for my van right now and hope to be on the road this year, at least short trips❤Bless you Sky❤
Yes , live your life now. One year ago today, a dear friend and co-worker of mine passed away at age 66. He had collected Social Security for 4 months! He never got to enjoy a well lived retirement.

For decades I've said that when there's a natural disaster it's the carnies you should send in with the Red Cross. Carnies can set up an entire village w/water and potties in a couple of hours, and when they're gone they leave no trace! Thanks for the video.

I think there are many positive aspects to taking a child's attention away from a trauma, as well. For adults too, it's good to "lighten" someone's load, if only for a while. It could make all the difference.
@@donwyates I so agree. The circus is a fantasy for a couple hours, and we work very hard to make that fantasy come true, if only for a short time. ❤❤❤️

Sky is one of my favorite Nomads. She friended me at a time when I was trying to figure out my life as a newbie widow 😢 she’s a good listener, loved looking at her photo albums and her career as a Circus Clown 🤡. She’s definitely a good soul to be around ❤

We love you Sky! You are so brave! You showed where your pads are and your cpap too. We're both on a cpap and didn't know how we would keep both cpaps running all night. So we learned that we need to get solar and a bluetti. We also need to get a fridge/cooler for our insulin. Thank you Sky and Bob for showing that we can do this too! ❤

I agree with you in being a person as I am a caregiver. I choose not to sit in a doctor's office with my illness. I've had to fire my long time family physician to get someone who listens to my wants and needs.
His compassion bedside manners far exceed his loving understanding. There is no comparison to my gratitude to have his help to care for me how I want this to look and be.

Hi there, yes I agree, make the most of what you have. you can take anything and turn it into something beautiful. ... I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July of 2021, they wanted me to do radiation or chemo etc. I was not at peace with it, so I prayed and asked God what I should do. If He wanted me to walk this road then He needed to help me walk it as I was not strong enough to walk it by myself. That morning when I had my quiet time and opened up my devotional, the first words there were, " I AM THE GOD THAT HEALS YOU! " I just said thank YOU JESUS. Safe Travels

This is one of the nicest woman you've ever interviewed, Bob. I wish I had met her decades ago! She is wise beyond her years.
May God bless you and heal you dear sister. You are very brave and I believe you will live beyond this cancer. My mom had colon cancer in her 80s and after surgery she lived to her 90’s and we didn’t go to cancer doctors or no treatment and was best for us. She did not die from cancer but did live til 93 and died from Alzheimer’s. But now in heaven happy as can be. Take care and God will be with you too. ❤️👌🙏

what a terrific interview! I travel in Mexico a lot and they still have clowns in the City Square to entertain the children every week ... even in smaller towns I see this! Always fun to hear the laughter of the children as they are surprised by a few simple magic tricks or balloon animals.... This lady brought all of those memories back.. what a sweet soul!

I'm not technically a senior by age but I am as far as health I am. My days are very very limited. I hope I get to enjoy van life a year or 2 before I go.
