I have suffered tremors since 11 years old. I just cannot text long enough to express how it has affected my life. I am now 73. I was so embarrassed beginning grade 6 that I coul not read aloud without my whole body shaking. People including teachers and my family doctor asked constantly why I twas so nervous. I was convinced that I was mentally ill for years. I quit school in high-school because I just couldn't take the embarrassment any longer. In my 40s a doctor prescribed propranolol which was helpful. I had 2 children to support so returned to school and college. It was a very tough go but aided by a good bit of alcohol I graduated. I visited a well known doctor in Toronto who started me on both injections to my neck. I now get injections also to my jaw. In the midst of it all I had a nervous breakdown. Told my neurologist that it had increased my symptoms and he said no it wouldn't. My neurologist now just gives me botox. I take Levedopa/Cambodia and it immediately stopped my leg pain but I have very little stamina and suffer from apathy. I seldom go out. My father, brothers, uncles, aunts, cousins have parkinson's and m.s.

Sounds very intense! Have you ever tried fasting? Gluten, wheat, dairy and sugar in the wrong body can cause Parkinson like symptoms! Not all bodies are equal and we cannot all eat the same foods! Have you tried using food as medicine! Try intermittent fasting and focus mainly on animal based foods and green vegetables! Good luck 🙏💛🪶✨

Thank you so much for all of your information on Essential Tremors. It has truly been a blessing. It is not an easy disorder to live with.

My PCP literally googled what to prescribe me in the exam room. He was dismissive. It is so important to me...and it's progressing quickly. I'm only 33 and I work as a radiologic technologist. I can't even start IVs anymore. It's affecting my profession. :(

Im 28 and have had ET since 10. Every doctor I've talked to has been dismissive. I always thought they just didn't know any thing about ET. After seeing these videos, I'm going to pursue doctors that will take me seriously and get me the help I need.

Shameful!! Change your PCP ASAP!! Submit a complaint to your Medical Care Provider. Seriously!

I am a nurse and have ET in my hands and head. Drawing blood, starting IVs, giving injections all are a problem. Propranolol SR 80 mg and propranolol 20 mg twice a day as needed for breakthrough tremors has helped tremendously. I still have days my tremors are worse though.

Your brain is full of mucus most probably from mucus causing foods! Do a fast to clean out your body! Eat unprocessed foods after your fast to nourish and heal your body and regain mental clarity ✨

I don't know if I have a relationship with ET; I have never thought about it. But I realized, when I was reading my devotion yesterday, that I am very possessive of it. I always refer to it as MY tremors. 😂😂 I asked if anybody wanted me to share with them... No takers so far!

It wasn't that long ago when somebody said to me, "It looks like you need a hair of the dog that bit you." I wish I'd had the presence of mind to reply, "If that were the case, I would have had it already." Oh well. I look at it like this: If they're bothering me, they're leaving somebody with CP alone.

This doctor can't answer your questions because she's not able to examine you this way. You need to make an appointment with a doctor where you live. I hope everything goes well for you.

Sometime i loose my balance why

    • @soulfire.
      @soulfire. ปีที่แล้ว

Is your body strong? Do you do any balance training? Like standing on one leg? Is your core weak? Do you exercise? Start a balancing practice in order for your body to get stronger to stop you from loosing balance! Do squats, stand on one leg, point one leg out in front of you, try out to the side… how wobbly you are will show you how strong/ weak you are! Just start where you are now and don’t be hard on yourself if you really are wobbly, just focus on moving forward and getting stronger! See an osteopath or a physiotherapist if you can 🙏✨

I don't know how many people I have told this too,, or repeated this to, it's been the same story since seventh grade at least, 1977 till now, and lucky enough for the first time ever in my life, correction second time, October 5th 2019 was the third time I turned 54, which means two years ago I lied on a job application and I didn't even know it my aunt actually corrected me on Facebook and I was mad about it how dare her tell me how old I am. But I had to swallow Crow and I found out she was right I wasn't 54, but nobody told me I was 52, it made for a funny story for the entire year of 2018. But here's the funny part 2019 I decided to Google how old are you if you were born October 5, 1965 just before my birthday came up and it said I was 53 yep this is my third year being 54, how can this happen I have one friend, that is 5 days younger than me and he's a mathematical genius he's never wrong, and I have two other friends, one is two months younger and the other ones 2 months older, I was which are childhood friends and we all hang out still to this day, I've never had to fact check my age because I've always known it through them, I don't know how it's possible that I lost two years? The answers not important what's important is, now I have an answer for what I just did , H I didn't plan I'm just cursed with, that was not the story I started about an hour ago, but somehow in the back of my head I feel like everybody's been waiting for that whole hour for me to get to the point. That's because I'm using my phone it may have taken me three hours to get this far, you know touching the tip of the nose thing, so I rely on talk text, which seems to work fine at first fat because verbalizing Punctuation is impossible the lack of punctuation causes of the right words to change to gibberish. My thoughts are perfect in my head because they're not a sentence yet I don't see numbers names letters however I can drive you anywhere I've ever been before no matter where it is no matter how long it's been I know the way.............. so back to the beginning not only was this true but when I was doing it, I had always planned it so well that it worked every time, and here is the plan okay soon as we walk in the door I'm going to play like the bathroom Trump's any other thing, say I'm sorry where's the bathroom you guys are going to have to introduce yourselves, and then I go stand in the bathroom for a minute or so maybe even flush the toilet. Allowing enough time for the introduction process to be over it's the perfect method to avoid an introduction name recall lock up., Because unless you have this problem even if you know about it there's no way I can't I would financially insulting explain to a friend I've known for 10 years or more that I can't remember their name . I've always thought that I shook as a result of drug abuse and alcohol abuse my grandmother shook like crazy but she could still get that cup of coffee to her lips. Not me if I get caught shaking even by myself I lose all control, and stuff starts flying until I saw your video I had no idea that all these things linked together I think I'm on my fifth hour I hope you made sense of this and thank you

Shawn , Thank you for your story. I’m 84 now, I started working at a real job at a near by grocery store when I was 12. I had to give up working at 81, but work every night in dreams, Most of the time I’m trying to solve some construction problem or problems, but most of the time they are not quite right.
I worked so many jobs from 1947 to 1977 I could write several books. Mostly engineering experience. In 1977 I ask my brother if he wanted to go in business with me, and he said yes. Over the years we did many very large projects for some of the biggest companies in the world. I trained and hired the smartest people I could to do things I couldn’t do very well.
Too make a long story, your story brought out several things that I didn’t realize.
      1. I couldn’t remember names
fast enough, so I hired someone that could.
      2. I couldn’t write notes and listen at the same time.
      3. I wasn’t good at writing letters very fast.
Theirs other things, but I thought I was just too dumb to do these things, thank you again..
