Ive always wanted this figure from its first release. It really bugs me that NECA cant get their paints right. I got mine today and of course theres no way in hell im removing it from its box. But the paint of the netting on mine is really shabby. The others I saw were the same and it also looks like that on yours from what I can see. I like this figure a lot. I like the story of Ahab as well. I had no idea it was even being released. I went to try and find the Terminator figure and was pleasantly suprised. Super excited for all the awesome gear that is included. Sometimes NECA falls short in that aspect.
I just broke the hinge on the self destruct gauntlet and so I’m worried about breaking the hands because it’s difficult to get them out so this is just sorta a piece of expensive plastic
Jakob Ottsman It seems so ass backwards to me, why hunt something that’s weaker than you to then put its DNA into your body when way before in the older films it’s established that a Predator (Yautja) is stronger than a human being.
Thats a new concept. They are superior to most lifeforms they encounter. But its an interesting spin. But i think it would only do good if they took the dna of those that proved worthy in battle.
Did anyone had problems with the joints connecting the plasmacaster? Mine is a little bit warped and loose/weak. Do you guys have any tips or tricks to fix it?
The packaging for these Ultimate figures are too decked out to open sometimes. I'm not a big fan of Ahab, I mean I've never read the comic, but I'll still pick him and keep him intact; his figure has problems sure but untouched it looks pretty cool.
I wish they'd make them a bit easier to move. My new Lasershot predators left arm snapped off the first time I tried to move it at the shoulder. I'm super bummed.
I got mine today! Great review!! Specially de gun part: it just can't be hold with any hand... Also, the right almost-closed hand can't hold anything, not even the spear!.. I don't know how NECA managed to take the pics (the ones of the box that hold the skull and the gun). Have you tried to make your Ahab pose exactly like the pics from the box??
EA AC what are u talking about Neca used the same right hand for all the gripping hands in the predator line. Just put the spear in the hand it is semi flexible and meant to grip the spear I pose mine with it in the right hand and the spine on the left one
So what makes the "Ultimate" predators better than the normal ones? I don't understand they look the same. They look better than their old versions if they exist, but like they don't look any better than the similar in time released normal figures.

Neca needs to lengthen the power tubes, or remove them all together. The new ones on Ahab do stretch, but they still break very easily.
Alphalifestyle I just super glued it, broke all of mine in about 2 min they aren’t glued on well at all

I think the clip on his back is meant for the engineer's gun.
You know what my favorite part about the predators is. The fact they combine there DNA with other aliens DNA just to make themselves even stronger

Shadow_Bort I don’t consider The Predator Canon, I’d rather have Predators over The Predator. Shane Black made bad decisions.

Technically in the comics Ahab doesn’t have the tubes/pipes so you can just take those off anyway.

Is the chest armor a seperate piece? Or is it sculpted kn the torso?
