You know, a part of me wants to side with Reddick over his contract demands, but then I realized that Reddick is already 30 years old. If he was 5 years younger, he absolutely would have gotten that big payout he wanted, but at his current age, I would be hesitant too to meet his exorbitant demands. There is no way to tell when a decline is coming, and this is especially so for edge rushers, since they rely on that burst of speed to get to the QB. The physical wear and tear on a player's body is always there, and it will inevitably catch up to the player, but the big question is "when". That last one is the reason why teams are reluctant to pay the big bucks to players, and the leverage shifts against the player with age; the older you get, the less bargaining power.

HAASSON REDDICK IS NOT BETTER THAN BRYCE HUFF OMFG
He needs to play he is a professional or just trade him he is not happy
If I’m a Jets fan, I’m not wearing a paper bag over my head. I’m wearing a plastic bag.
duffle bag 🎒 😅
You missed important facts and context
There has to be a reason nobody eants to keep this git or pay him.
Dam he gone lose out on a year
Then still not get paid smh
Reddik is dumb
Poor Reddick
Come the Bucs haason
Goofy franchise for a Goofy old qb.
I think this screw-up tells you something about the organization!
Anderson Deborah Davis Helen Walker Larry
He will play and play for the contract he has
So the Jets traded someone on an expiring deal they didn't want to pay for someone who also had an expiring deal who was going to expect an extension and turns out they don't want to pay him either.
you trade for a guy on an expiring deal on the assumption you're gonna extend him. Great job Jets front office! 😂😂
2nd
Nonstory. He will be on the field by Week 1.
He just needs be in building by week 10 for season to count if I remember right
You guys swore he wouldn't miss training camp.
@@Phayrone not important. He knows he has no leverage, week 1 is what matters.
its week 1 @@mourka01
Yup he’s an absolute stud who sucks against the run and can’t drop into pass coverage😂. Just wait till opposing offenses keep running the ball to his side of the defense and he’s nowhere to be found 😂. Do Jets fans think they really outsmarted Howie by far the best GM in football lmao
He doesnt want to play with that weirdo Aaron Rogers. Aaron is on hit away from talking about jewish space lasers and injecting bleach.
like why would you trade for a guy that you already know wanted a contract extension and you didn’t give him a contract extension 😂
They knew he wanted a new deal and that is why the Eagles traded him.
