I've been playing over fifty years and I doubt if I'll ever use these licks, but I really enjoyed playing them. Especially the last one. Once I'd got it, I couldn't stop noodling it. Nice, ta.

Also - there's an UNREAL lick in Midnight movies by Saint Motel - makes the entire song. So damn catchy, def worth a listen!

Hopefully I will be free from it soon and can get back to playing. How are you and family? Love your studio and that PRS is just pure SWEETNESS!
Funny you mentioned the last lick. It's similar to the beginning lick in universal mind by Liquid Tension Experiment. Different key and rhythm, but same shape as the main lick in the intro for that song.

Please describe your pick directions. I notice when you are first describing these licks, you do all downstrokes, but when you speed it up, you are doing different pick directions that are hard to decipher. Thanks for sharing these licks!

Don't feel bad, I'm a Lefty and i couldn't showcase anything other than what a person plays like when they don't put the dedication and hard work in to be a proficient player. I enjoy the constant useful content. I have been playing for a long time and like different things to break out of the dreaded funk.
I am really into the “muggs” at the moment. Lot of good riffs in “Doc Mode” about 6:50 min’s in is a really nice run.
