First time I actually participated in a game here. I would pause and look at clues and try figure things out along. This looks like a super fun game to try with people not into more complex games, thank you for a great play through, as always.

Want to give a big shout out for this game! There is actually no need to take photographs of your clover. As shown in the Video, noone looks it up because as soon as the others start to talk about your clover it will come back to your memory all naturally. Don't worry about your memory skills - I've played this game with several people and it never turned out to be an issue for anyone. Greetings

It's interesting watching and playing this game. Some people try to write a word that applies when you read the card words back to back. Other people write a clue that works with both card words individually. Seems hard for people to understand that the other way of giving clues exists.
So my friends and I played this and its a lot of fun, but I agree that the spectator doesn't really get to have a lot of fun. Here's an idea I had to make it a little more fun for the spectator. After you write your 4 words, pass the board to your left so they can see everything before its removed. They look through a handful of unused cards and handpick the decoy. This would make it a lot harder so you might need to get 3 guesses instead of 2. This would make it a lot more fun for the spectator and the person that hand picked the decoy. You might need a different scoring system for this, but when we played we didn't even keep track of points.
As a Belgian, manneke pis would for sure be ok since it’s the name of the statue. That’s like not being able to write “statue of liberty”. Would you play it that strict? I guess you can choose with your group how tough to make it ;). Thanks for the great video!
Hahahaha I watched "How to play" and suggest that you play wrong, but first I checked rules... It seems I played all the time wrong (harder - discard only 1 wrong card instead of everyone).🤣
This game looks fun (and was a fun watch). I like that it goes up to 6 players. I often find myself with a group of 5 and having to fudge the rules a bit to accommodate. Pretty sure I’ve seen this at my LGS so I’ll probably pick it up. Thanks for featuring it!

@@tommygrahn1516 Keep an eye on the posted link, it would show up there, if ever published. So Clover was just nominated for "Spiel des Jahres", which gives games a higher recognition, so I'd say your chances have gone up. (But I know nothing about Swedish Game Publishing Practices...)
This is slightly more fun to me because it has significantly less down time. Only at the start of a game of So Clover people might struggle with coming up with good clues, while in Codenames this can (and probably will) happen almost every turn. It's also quicker to explain and to set up. Only if you think co-op games aren't that much fun, Codesnames might be better for you.

Here, you might struggle to come up with some clues, but in Codenames, you are always spending time trying to come up with a way to link 3 words, there is longer and more frequent AP. Linking 2 can be hard, but I find this moves better, and has more laughs.
You keep thinking of car ball as a thing. You are thinking it wrong. Those two are not supposed to be paired. Both words just have to match the given clue.

We love this game, though we’ve only played it with one dummy card a few times. Two additional cards is the sweet spot for us.
I would've gone with firewalking for lava talent, but I'm not sure most people would know it's a single word.
That is great - part of the fun and difficulty is coming up with the word on the spot, often a much better one occurs to you later!

Switzerland did look perfect for chateau at first but the more I thought about it, a Switzerland cabin would be more of a chalet?
