Wow! that looked a real mission, must have been designed on a Friday! but as usual handled like a true professional. Only problem for me Kevin is that I get a sore back watching! but its worth it, again well done Sir. cheers from down under NZ
Great job. I like watching you do this stuff as it makes me feel better about doing little jobs on my car and tractor. All seen like small jobs after these videos 😂. You’d have stood a decent chance of getting those battery tray bolts out of you’d have used an old fashioned manual impact driver and a hammer I reckon. Pro tip, put some lapping compound on the end of the bit and it’ll really bite into those bolts when you whack it. 9 times out of 10 I reckon you’d get them out with that method and save having to butcher the tray.
after seeing how complicated this french piece of crap is to work on,I dont think any mech this side of the pond would fix it!why do french cars have to be so difficult to work on?this man Kevin is so organized that he knows exactly what has to be removed and is prepared for the task at hand. AMAZING GUY.
Those renaults are a nightmare I have one sitting in the drive, I cant be arsed taking all the front end off to fit a simple alternator. I would refuse to do work on these everything takes for ever, and there's always something in the way of any job. However great job 👏
Great video, man. I have same car and I just taked it from the mechanic, he replaced the clutch as you in video. Now the car have a vibration, it feels only inside and only in neutral. Any idea about what can be wrong?
Hello my friend Kevin. My car is a Nissan Sunny 2010. When the car stops for 12 hours or more, I turn it on and put the transmission on D, but it does not move until after 10 minutes and then it moves without any problems and the transmission works fine. I checked the oil level and everything was excellent. Can you help and guide me what should i do thanks
Thanks a lot for the video! I am surprised by the low mileage. Was the CSC prefilled? No electric problems when connecting the battery? Megane units are kind of special about it. By the way, the avatar photo for the video belongs to a facelifted Megane. Great work. Thanks!
Oscar .. it’s as if we had a telepathic conversation.. When I was priming the CSC I thought. Wow what a surprise I only primed it and plugged the connecting pipe in and it worked first time. I thought this must have been pre filled. Usually it’s a lot of back and forth to bleed them. And before I even got started on the repair I said to the customer. Once battery is disconnected over a period of time. It’s likely we’re gonna have some problems. Especially with the key card not being recognised or some light of some sort gonna come on. But hey nothing of the kind. It was a good all round job considering the badge.
Awesome video and great camera work! I would love to know how long it took you to bleed that damn clutch though! I've been trying for days since that stupid slave cylinder has no bleed valve and I can't get the clutch to disengage! A nightmare!! The only good thing about these pieces of crap are that they don't rust. Otherwise I've learnt to hate Renault!
Thank you. If you have a product that I can physically use then by all means let’s do it. But if it’s just to review a product that’s of no benefit to this work or field I’m in., then that might be a bit difficult.

Thanks for watching.
Thank you so much for this upload, took me 4 days but saved £700. The most difficult thing was getting gear box back in.
Whoever designed this gearbox and accesories is purely insane.
Ya haven't done the one with LPG installation then, compared to normal one it's hell
@@wateuszkelsz 👍👍

over engineered with electrical gremlins the megane, but you tamed the beast from automobile hell, great vid buddy 👍

Not a lot of Mechanics are great fan of French motors., a bit like eating 🍽 escargot 🐌.. not much can stomach it 😁🍻
I was cringing, but I wasn't ever about to give up on this guy. He must have a genie working with him. How else is it possible. Right? LOL!

Hi, the torx screws of the plastic battery case were licked, you found a good solution kevin, i wonder how the owner looked at this situation
With admiration..
All the clutch kit is from LuK? Even the clutch slave cylinder?
masterclass

Hallo Kelvin !
When disconnecting the computer from the 12 volts, does it not generate any fault code afterwards or is there no problem with that?
William friends cordial greetings from Argentina
Big Helloo… hope it’s a beautiful day in Argentina 🇦🇷
whats the name of the tool you use to center the cluntch? is a universal tool true?
Clutch alignment tool
Super mekanikk 👍👍
when you jack the centre of car are you using rear of subframe?
There’s is an X mark on it. But close to the rear yes.
Did you have to take starter motor off ?please
As you see so it shall be ..

Where did you get the interlocking foam mats from?
Just bought some fresh ones from Halfords.
So you just broke the battery tray??
Nothing broken Wayne. Just a bit of re engineering

Plastic and cheap steel bolts with a dose of water don’t you just love um 👍
It’s one of them once fitted that’s it. A bit like IKEA furniture 😁
I bet you can juggle with three gearboxes.😄
Very nice🦾👏
yep typical renault even cheap bolts in battery tray a small mortgage to keep these cars repairs going over ownership
