49ers have injures, barely .500 and probably miss playoff. Lions have injuries, the best start to in Lions history and are still superbowl contenders. Love this team.

Agree to a point, the 9ers is a lot of offense vs defense for the Lions, I think they'd be hurting if it was the offense. Defense wins championships, but you can't win a game without an offense.

The nice thing is that these guys coming in are all chomping at the bit for the opportunity. They're going to come in and prove themselves. Green Bay, I'm hoping, comes in overconfident, and the Lions light them up!!

Bro......OMG. I just watched Myles Adams play. He has a nice stutter step to set up the offensive lineman for penetration. Bro I think he can give us possibly more than Wingo. I'm telling you bro like I said on your other video....these practice guys are hungry. They are auditioning for their lives in this game and will give you MAXIMUM EFFORT. Great job Brad on these newest Lions!

Washington just cut Emmanuel Forbes, their 2023 first round pick. I don’t know what his deal is but with the Lions struggles at CB, maybe they take a look at him. Unless he’s got some character issues, i think it’d be worth considering. He’s only 1.5 years into his career, 23 years old.

The linebackers were one of our deepest units as well. It’s crazy to see but of course Brad knew we needed a beast like Campbell, and we get him for quite a while as well.
Holmes’s drafts are legendary. The way the whole front office is bought into the culture is a beautiful thing.

We need rotational guys to take enough snaps so our starters don’t get too exhausted. Jack Campbell doesn’t get enough credit for his grit and durability and he’s getting better every game.

Very good point man. On the D line too, Za'darius Smith played way too many snaps on Thanksgiving. We gotta keep that dude fresh, he's been a monster on that line.

This is why he was drafted and it was obvious. He can run the green dot and practically cover the whole field while stuffing the run. He’s still a little raw but it’s good knowing he’s here now.

I had a hairline fracture in my right arm sleding accident. And i wore a cast and it took 2 weeks for it to heal. I had to wear a brace for 6 weeks. Also what happend to him was extremely painful and horrifying he didnt have any significant tissue damgage. Just a clean break and thats honestly if you was to break a bone thats how you want it to break if you was to break it i do not wish this on anyone but hes lucky it was a clean break. Im no doctor but i learned about this stuff. He could be back by the end of December possibly depends on how he heals.

You guys don't understand the Alexander move. I also saw articles talking about the Maurice Alexander and saying its a horrible mistake. When a guy is called up from the practice squad he's temporarily added to the 53 man roster. To go back to the practice squad you have to waive/release him and usually no one claims him and you resign him to practice squad. He was never added to 53 man roster in the same way they have to with Kwon Alexander coming from another teams practice squad

Not cadences, they're possible codes for what they say in the huddle. Notice how not all the players stay for the whole call. They hear their part and walk off. Position groups key into certain phrases, even with calls at the line, so it's not confusing. Defense can't hear that anyway. Might be some protections called at the line but the defense really has no way to know exactly what they refer to as far as blocking assignments and coverage. Unless you know what the terms mean it's pretty useless. Each team runs the same plays but use different terminology to communicate them. This is why you see players come in and talk about learning the terminology. QBs have to know all of it to direct audibles and understand where all the players are going to be. Offense and defense has different terminology. Some teams are better at concealing this and the Lions especially are good at disguising a play only to switch up to something else, especially defensively.

James Houston was cut his rookie year. Glenn never liked him. Its really thet that simple. By the way, when the Lions beat KC last year, week 1. Houston had Mahomes in the grasp, twice. No other Lion laid a finger on Mahomes. The refs permitted KC to cheat, Chief online guards were lining up, three yards behind the line of scrimmage. The Lions protested, to no avail. The league cracked down on it, the following week. Houston gets injured week two. Miraculously Houston played in the championship game. He wasn't even close to being 10O% Big fat Trent Williams, the biggest habitual holder in the NFL was tackling or bear hugging Houston on every play. The refs never called him for holding. If Houston stays healthy, he'll be the next Von Miller. Glenn never liked Houston, for some bizarre reason. Houston is a strong Christian man. He doesn't drink alcohol or use drugs. He loved playing for the Lions. My guess Dan Campbell capitulated to Glenn.

@Goldenboy48-do7uk Before James Houston was injured. He was the best edge rusher on the Lions. He set two NFL records his rookie year. Most sacks and pressures, playing the least amount of snaps. He led the Lions in sacks his rookie year, Hutchinson edged him out by one, in the last game of the year in Green Bay. Time will tell. Historically the Lions are infamous for giving up on players, that go to other teams, and become pro-bowl elite players. This coaching staff cut Houston his rookie year. When the Lions brought him up two years ago on Thanksgiving against Buffalo. The Lions defence was the worst defense in the history of the NFL. The defense drastically improved. And finished the year 9--8 Cutting Houston this week is the dumbest, idiotic descion. Words can't define how stupid this was. The irony here, Houston was finally recapturing his brilliance from his rookie year. He was all over the field against the Texans. It makes absolutely no sense to cut Houston.

@@stephensdygert7600 Houston was great before his injury, I agree..but when he had that magical run, he was new to the NFL. There was no tape on him so he caught teams by surprise as a 6th rd pick...now that the tape is out on James, that he only has a speed rush, teams are more prepared to handle him. He's a one dimensional pass rusher. Teams know if you stop his speed rush, you can take him out of the play. And he was never good at stopping the run. Lions prioritize versatility over one dimensional players. They gave him lots of chances to prove he had more in his skill set, it just didn't pan out.

@Goldenboy48-do7uk Your propagandized. Your listening to people that keep reporting that same old rap against James Houston. Look up what Taylor Decker said about blocking Houston. " Impossible" Peni Sewell said, " blocking Houston is like blocking a Eel" University of Florida tried to say the same thing. Deon Sanders begged the Lions to give him a chance. Houston had 16 sacks his last year at Jackson State. Hutchinson had 14 sacks at Michigan. Hutchinson had four times the snaps. It's the biggest line of bullxxxx that Houston can't defend the run. Justin Fields was asked in a podcast last year who he feared on the Lions defence. He replies " James Houston is the scariest mother xxxxxx that ever hit me.
