You put in such a ridiculous amount of effort for this. Anyone who plays him knows how much thought you did on what to include and how to make it approachable. Salute.
It's nice seeing other Nappa players posting content these days. I've been considering making a compilation of Nappa tech and gimmicks that I never see others using. Might get started on that later today. Keep up the good work.
@@pumpingpriest5893 To be fair, I did start. I just never finished it after the last patch hit. I have a bunch of clips saved that I just need to post.
Some real good stuff in this video. Very minor point of criticism would be that you only showed one example of the midscreen mix with Janemba assist, some assists have a slightly different setup
Yeah, I dont like doing repeats but i think my videos can benefit from me fading into a different assist to show which is possible. On that setup tho there’s only a small few that work though. But thank you I will take this into account for the next video.
@@xxUmAdPrOxx Oh yeah don't sweat it mate, frankly it's a nice touch that you even mentioned his midscreen and corner setups, most Nappa combo guides tend to ignore this completely.
I would personally argue the mid screen shmix is worth learning. Maybe it is advanced, but having the basic corner and the midscreen versiom give you reset opportunities at all times
I never said it wasn’t worth learning. Just that it isn’t one to strive for. The reasoning being that the corner ones are meterless and a lot more universal. Not every nappa team allows for that mid screen one. Plus the combo is better in the corner. Midscreen nappa combos are pretty weak
@@xxUmAdPrOxx Hmm, I think this is just a matter of different understandings then. To me they are synonymous but I understand the point you are trying to make now
@@TheKeaver Yeah it’s all about what you value. For example if I have a team that enables it and I have a way of two touching then by all means I think it’s should be something to go for.
@@xxUmAdPrOxx Hell yeah, thanks for taking the time to engage in a convo with a noob about it. I like the theory of it a lot. I found it in anothet vid and it was the mix that got me to start learning Nappa in the first place. Thanks for the video as well I'll make sure to stick around!
@@TheKeaver Thank you so much and it is no problem at all. I love talking about fighting games. Thanks for sticking around, next one is coming up real soon.
hey can you tell me if the explosion pressure restand (7:48) is possible with bardock B, i try to delay the jump M after the assist because if i super jump i get to high, but then, most of the time the enemy is to high for my 5M to connect (after 2M after planting 2nd saibamen), or even if i get everything right, the enemy techs out before the saibamen explosion
Hello sir, that's a very nice video. Maybe you could help me out here. In the last balance patch they changed Nappa. Do you know if the universal restand setup, shown at 7:26, is still possible? Seems like I can't perform it any longer. Inputs: ... > j.2H > 214M > Assist > 5L > 5M > 5S(2) > SD > j.H > Saibaman Spit hits > ...
After this one is beerus since the vids already done. Then baseku. But after Baseku Im planning to do one of kydens team of kefla, cooler, 18. Ittl take me a while to do 17 because im bad at Rekka 😭😭
Hi i know this is fairly old but at the 10:23 spot I cant get the restand to connect. the saiba dude keeps hitting with the low slide and knocking him down and I don't know why.
Heyo, first of all that video is insane, that help me crazy good for have a first approach of Nappa, and i have a question, what's the perfect timing for the 214S into 236S and sjLL ? When I do it either i can't jump in time or my super jump is too tight for hit
The timing is really tight. You want do 236S as they are falling from the 214S. Then you need to superjump cancel immediately. It is super tight and I don’t recommend the combo over the other bnb due to it only working unscaled and having a very strict timing.

Nappa is too underrated in this game. I love him.
Best Nappa guide currently out there in my opinion as a main of him since the patch in Season 1 where his 2M and 5L became Lows

Just recently wanted to get into nappa and couldn't find any videos with combo notations until this one. Thank you
You're guides seem very approachable and have a clean feel thanks for the info and im sure you will do great if you keep up the work.
Thanks for making this video, I'm working to pick up nappa right now. This will help indefinitely.
This is an amazing guide, you deserve more subs
Trying to get into Nappa so this guide is appreciated

I was looking for something like this after watching Silverbladez. Nice job.

Oh I get it, Unlocked Potential Krillin from the old budokai games. nice touch.
You make Nappa look easy
Can you please make nappa proper guide like when to stagger and other Oki setups and all.
Loving this videos man! Any chance that you are planning to make a n16 video?
Sometime in the future. I havent touched 16 since season 1. The next 5 characters are actually already planned but I dont mind doing 16 after them.

Id have to lab and see. This reset is more for people with assist that launch high but i can see about bardock N
Bardock B**
Hmm for the scaled saibaman bnb, what is meant by use 236L not M. where's that placed in the combo? or typo?
Can you give a time stamp?
@@xxUmAdPrOxx 08:48
For the saibamen combo on 8:45 you said for scaled use 236L instead of M but theres no 236M?
For the reset routes I notice you airdash L after the SD J.H but I for the life of me cannot get an airdash out while falling from the J.H.
Same I was just about to comment on it because I can’t do it either.
Instead of doing 5L 5M 5S SD JH, just do 2L 2M 5S SD JH, then you will get the air dash I have no idea how he did it with nappa

Yeah since nappa received some buffs, his 5M is faster which messes up the restand time. The new one I think is 2M instead of 5M .
@@xxUmAdPrOxx thank you for this info. I need to try it out to see, if it works using 2M .

Hi, I was wondering if there was some specific timing for the first saibaman combo because i keep dropping it at the dragon rush part
Hi i know this is fairly old but at the 10:23 spot I cant get the restand to connect. the saiba dude keeps hitting with the low slide and knocking him down and I don't know why.
The combo itself might be outdated. Nappa got some updates to his frame data do that might be why it’s dropping .

I can't find a way for piccolo A assist to work with tech saibamen combo, are beam assists the only ones that work?
Time stamp the combo so I know which one and I'll be able to give you a good answer
Just a question, for the first reset I can't get my air dash to come out. Any tips?
After planting the Saibamen, try 5L > 5H > 5S (2) > superdash > j.H
I wanna ask what 5m and XX and 5(S1) and all that means, but I’m too afraid to ask at this point
