amnesia IS real because niles can have this exact same conversation with both male and female robins and not realise he's having the same exact conversation again XD
You have to admit, this Support was actually a dead serious one for Niles... heck before watching everybody's like... welp here's Niles again... but in reality you can't just stop and pity the man for what he has gone threw before meeting Leo :(
...One of his Japanese My Room quotes is surprisingly vulnerable too - he actually tells the Avatar he's married that he has some terrible nightmares about his past, and that "While I sleep... please hold my hand and never let go". He never dropped his defensive walls in the English version like that.
Actually, Validar mentions that Robin's mother stole them away when they were about a month old, so Robin wouldn't be able to remember Validar even if they didn't have memory loss.
True, Robin couldn't have been under Validar's "care" for more than a year or two, but the majority of his pre-amnesia life was spent running away from him. Validar's more than likely the reason his mother's not still around. I just can't picture it being a happy time in his life. Robin undoubtedly ran into or was captured by Validar several times prior to Awakening as even in his amnesic state he can't help feeling that Validar is incredibly familiar and he feels a distinct connection when he runs into him again.
@@andrewt329 Really? Validar honestly sounds like he never found out where Robin and his/her mother was. Remember during the Assassination chapter Validar says he had been searching for Robin for years. If he had at least found Robin's mother and killed her, then wouldn't you think he would like to taunt Robin with that bit of info? It just seems like Validar never found them and Robin's mother simply died to natural causes, seeing as we never hear about her despite Robin becoming widely known by the end of the Plegian Ylisse war. Also, the reason for Robin's amnesia isn't because of run-ins or being captured by Validar, it's because the Grima from the future came to the past, found Robin, and tried to possess Robin early on so he could return early and destroy the world. The issue was Robin's heart was too weak at the time and the shock wiped Robin's memories, though this was also what caused Robin to obtain the memory of his alternate future self becoming Robin which was how Robin knew what was going to happen during the Dragon Table chapter.
I love Male Robin's voice... I don't know why. It's just really good Not gonna lie, this ended up being really sweet and emotional and I'm glad, but I kind of wanted to see Niles hit on Male Robin
I'm fairky certain it's because his and Takumi's original voice, Roger Rose, typically only does union-only stuff, although I can't confirm that. That's kind of what happens when Nintendo got the VA director for the majority of the Metal Gear Solid games to do the VA direction for Fates.
The only reason Robin knew Chrom’s name was because their future self that was controlled by Grima came back to the past and tried to take them over. They lost their memories in that conflict but also saw a vision of the future
What about that fact that Chrom's name was literally the first thing that Lissa said before he even opened his eyes? That part was completely ignored for no reason other than to make Robin suspicious.
The way Niles talks about Leo, I’m amazed that Takumi/Leo is a more popular pairing than the former two. I don’t ship any pairing either way. I usually go for the strongest child unit lol.
Yup, basically figured out which new map had the Bonding Charm and went straight for that first. Once I got the Bonding Charm, I then used it to grind out supports. Can't say for sure how much it speeds things up, but it did feel like I was getting to A ranks much quicker than before.
justonegamr It raises the soft cap on support points you can get between two characters on any given map. You can now gain support points up to the next rank rather than getting about 20 between two particular characters. In short it basically can halve the time it takes to go from no support to an A (usually takes six battles of maxing out points to get to an A. There are exceptions like Hinoka with Nohrians taking longer whereas Chrom and Robin can get theirs in three battles)
When Chrom found Robin lying unconscious in Awakening Robin only could remember his own and Chroms name and how to fight and read enemies. The game gives you an explanation for that memory loss later, and the good memories refered to here are the ones he has made with Chrom and all the others.
This is explained in Awakening: The true timeline is that Robin is the avatar of Grima. His father, Validar used him to become that. In time, Robin is possessed by Grima; kills Chrom, and brings all of Ylisse to ruin. The children of the Shepards army rise and fight back to no avail, thus returning to the past to undo the damage. However, Grima follows suit. When Grima arrived in Ylisse in the past, he tried to hasten the progress of Robin, and destroyed/erased his memories. Thus the story begins with Robin unconscious in the open fields. Grima, in the end was his undoing by destroying his former self's memory and gave enough time for the Future Children to influence time.
Robin having unpleasant memories? Oh, you have *NO* idea, Niles. Then again, considering David Vincent also voiced him, I think Niles might be a bit more "interested" in someone like Jin Kisaragi from BlazBlue.

*sees Niles* Oh gods, what is he up this time?
Elizabeth K Blanco i'm a normal girl... I see Niles... I click ;)
Why was I expecting Niles to hit on Robin....
I was not only expecting it, I was hoping for it ;)
Because it's Niles?
Niles is Niles, always hitting on someone
Because he’s Niles, he will hit on anything that moves.
"Rite after rite, and still my memories refuse to return. This is beyond infuriating...
Maybe I'll go Start a war to cheer myself up." - Robin

@@DeltaSilver88 In that respect, Niles reminds me a lot of Soren and his past.
Well Validar probably isn't a verry pleasant memory all things considered. Probably for the best he forgot those.

I'm very much new to Fire Emblem. Literally the only reason I'm deciding to pick up the interest is because of Marth and Robin in Smash bros.
Why is Nile's face a darker color than the rest of his body?
God Awful Orb Saver bad shade of foundation
If you look at his skinship in fates it's like that too, I'm sure it's intentional here too
God Awful Orb Saver fire emblem devs avoid dark skinned characters so much that they forget how to draw them
Well, I could suppose that he has gotten a tan....?
you’re name is perfect
David Vincent delivers his lines so perfectly. 💕💕 Male Reflet (Robin) for the win!!
Holy cow, him talking about the memories he'd rather forget broke my heart. I kinda feel bad for Niles...
*sees thumbnail* oh god...not Robin too!
Niles talking with M!Robin is literally just english dubbed Bleach Nnoitra talking to Grimmjow. Christ, I knew I recognised that voice from somewhere
WHY THE HELL DID THEY CHANGE NILES' VOICE?!
AGHHHHH... I still love him though~
byonca robinson I actually like the voice change but that’s mostly because I find Michael Sinterniklass’ voice soothing
Star Falchion Well, it isn't bad... I just wish they hadn't done it so suddenly...
byonca robinson They did it in Heroes first though.....

Look, I get it, Niles. You're just pissed that you can't support your boyfriend. It's okay.
This was better than it had any right to be.
As soon as I clicked the video, I was in for a treat.

"even frederick was skeptical at first"
okay but frederick is skeptical of everything so i dont know what youre trying to prove there robin
That took a different turn than I expected
How do you grind supports this quickly?
Well the DLC did come with items that apparently speed up the process.

I think you should do a video on this, I for one would be interested to see how you grind supports.
So, Robin's memory was erased? He (or she) has many memories of their lifes.
i'm confused too, even in the conversation.
