Actually it's slightly ulta. She interrupted many people many times before in previous episodes and today she was complaining that Antariksh does not listen. I am not saying Antariksh was not wrong, but she's sailing the same boat.
10/10 only watch this for her. Urjuta is a breath of fresh air to all the annoying women in India. I wish Indian women could be half as awesome as her ! She's pretty, well articulated, funnnnnnny, always on point with her research and views. If she were to make a podcast of only her talking i'd still watch it. Honestly Indian men would be so threatened by an amazing woman like her its sad. She's not annoying and in your face feminist like other comics instead she has well researched comedy with great punchlines
The costuming in this movie (except Aishwarya) is so campy I love it!

I love how Raj Aryan has two first names that symbolise his individual and rebellious nature and Narayan Shankar has two last names that symbolise Parampara, Pratishtha, Anushasan.
Also...movie lambi isliye bhi thi because of songs...but loved those songs a lot and love srk always. And bhot logo ko pasand hai mohabbatein ....
Antariksh just derailed Urjita's story on why Kake and Preeto were a good love story. I really wanted to hear what she had to say. Wish he knew how to exercise restraint and let his fellow speaker actually finish speaking

This was supposed to be a launch for 6 newcomers also apparently -definitely Uday Chopra, but only Jimmy Shergill’s career has survived but like barely. Definitely revamped Amitabh Bacchan’s career though

The songs in Mohabbatein are awesome.
Pairon mein bandhan hai, hamko hamese churalo and of course aankhein khuli ho ya ho bandh. Literally explaining what it feels like to fall in love. And because there were many love stories in one movie all having good screen space, chances of you relating to one of them strongly was good.
The songs has aged the best. Love always wins.
Idk what soul Urjita found in this overdramatic movie that takes itself too seriously where everything is so on the nose - the punjabis are too punjabi, the shy girl is extra shy the sporty girl is too sporty, and every song has 3 antaras for 3 love stories so everyone has symmetrical time dancing in color-coordinated clothes
Hey take it easy. I loved the movie as well and still do! That's the fun in art, everyone has their own take on it.
From what I remember the movie was also a super hit so I'm sure quite a few people liked it 😊😊

Has anyone figured out what the weather of this place is? Guys are wearing Sherwanis, Sweaters, Full shirts, Blazers and Jackets and girls are wearing "lesser layers" and "less body coverage as compared to the boys"; The exception being Helen !

Urjita gave way too much credit to the makers of this film. I lost it at 'the crux of the story is so strong' :D
Found this movie really stupid when I first watched it. Though, it looks very good and the music is great. The story, dialogues, characters and acting are horrendous.

Mohabbatein and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi could not surpass DDLJ's popularity
I really feel these movies have cringed very well. I don't have that opinion about ensemble cast movies from the west, Valentines day and the whole bunch has aged so well. I believe Aditya chopra doesnt have good story writers, he is a decent director no doubt. With his father, it would be still relatable because he would actually take real love stories from the world of bollywood and make it into movies. Overrated as a term is simply not my way of judging a person, but this guy is every bit of it.

Just stopped watching after they said they dont relate with Jugal and Jimmy's stories in the movies like seriously? They depict the purest form of love especially Jugal who just has a childhood love rather than getting wooed by beauty and stuff I don't think they get the point of this movie except Urjita

This was a very combative podcast episode. Sheesh
Urjita is always harping on how “women dont have agency” in early 90s films and even otherwise universally acclaimed great films, but when it comes to this manipulative melodramatic film, she overlooks everything conveniently……..she has always been a poor host coming up with contradictory statements or outright dumb stuff coz she doesn’t research enough and is not a true movie buff like many of the guests or even abbas for that matter.

@vickytinta .. Agreeing to @randomverse1501 … AAA was like breaking the fourth wall with dialogues with the context like Sholey iske baap ne toh likhi thi, and other so many factors. Not just another comedy movie. I dont see any such thing with Mohabbatein, just another love story. You can’t compare both
