This is such an old video but I can't even begin to tell you what it did for me today. After four days of feeling like I couldn't get out of bed I picked up my phone, got on TH-cam, found this video and immediately couldn't wait to get up and play with this look. People tell you all the time how much you and your videos inspire them and today I just had to be one of those people. What you do is just so much more than makeup...its empowerment. It's reminding young women that they can get out of bed every morning and do absolutely anything. It takes courage, patience, time and practice but you HAVE to know that when you put all of that into your videos, your subscribers get it back x10. So thank you. From the bottom of my heart thank you for (in a 13 minute video) reminding me how possible it is to feel capable, strong and pretty. Love ya long time. 💕

I'm 12 and I get teased and criticized about how much makeup I have and wear. I have a lot of makeup 😄 a lot of people don't get that I LIKE doing my makeup, I don't do it because I want to be cool. Every time someone comments on how much makeup I wear, I always go back to you videos and hope that one day I can do my makeup as good as you 😘 thanks for your great videos, because they always make me happier
You do YOU! I'm 15 and started wearing makeup at 12 years old and i got picked on for it as well. But girls like us can show people how makeup can really be a positive thing. Some people don't understand our love for makeup and just think we're insecure teenaged girls. When someone asks me why I wear so much makeup I tell them "I plan on doing this for a living one day, I might as well be good at it now." Jaclyn Hill even said she started wearing makeup at a young age and look at where she is now! Who says we can't do the same?! Just keep doing you and ignore the haters.
Same, I am 11 and have tons of makeup. When my friends come over, they are sooooo rude. I do have high end products like, Dior, Mac, Channel, etc., and I think that is way they are that way.
That happened to me when I started wearing makeup at 11. My "friends" wouldn't even talk to me... But I have new friends now so it's all good. So don't worry it will get better, it did for me😊❤️

I'm 16 and i have a lot of makeup and like putting it on but people always comment saying 'wow you really dressed up didn't you' But what we have to realise is that everyone will talk shit because they are jealous or they don't understand our passion. +jaclyn hill I'm not sure if you look at these older videos comments but I had to tell you this story. My sister recently had her 40th birthday party. It was at my sisters house and I used my nephews room to get ready, I set up my make up and mirror and started this video on my phone to copy as I did my make up. My 8 year old nephew (who loves to draw) came in and watched me intently. He loved it!! It was so cute and I was telling him all about you.
Half way through he goes 'oh Emy, you need to blend that a bit' !!! I laughed soooo much! How did he know!?! My sister told me that he now watches your videos on his own and uses them to help him drawer! So cute!

can you share how in all of your videos your under eye area looks so glowyy? in your contour video you posted a while back you said you just had on foundation and i assume concealer but it looks as if its highlighted as well. its gorgeous and in every video I'm in awh of how stunning and flawless your makeup looks.
She showed at the beginning about 2:30 into the video, she puts mac pro longwear concealer in NW20 under her eyes. Sometimes she uses Mac prep and prime in radiant rose under her eyes too. That's the secret - try it! I've tried it and it looks so pretty and I've received so many compliments for it!
THANKS! i have the prolong wear concealer as well but it doesn't look the same=[ l i have tanner complexion than her so maybe my concealer needs to be lighter to give the brightening affect because right now its kind of a nataural color when i put it under my eyes. and i hear about that mac prep n prime everywhere i just haven't taken the plunge yet in purchasing it maybe i should
Yeah the concealer needs to be slightly lighter than your skin tone to have the same effect and you should definitely try the prep and prime - go for it!
Concealer always looks better when it's a shade lighter than your skin
yeas mine is slightly lighter but um more on the natural side of things.. maybe i was matched wrong i wear NC in mac and my bottle broke but i think I'm pretty sure they gave me NW

***** , every time I try to use the ProLongwear concealer, it cakes up under my eyes. I apply it to my wrist to warm it up first and then apply it with my fingers to my face and blend with my dampened BeautyBlender. I actually find that any concealer does this on me, what am I doing wrong?

try putting an eye primer under your eyes and then put the concealer....hope it helps :)
Do you use an eye cream? It might be because your under eyes are not moisturised
Jaclyn, the whole world knows about the missing of a Malaysian Airlines on March 8 2014, carrying 329 people with 2 infants. I noticed the beauty world on TH-cam are sort of oblivious to this or decided that it was none of their concern to announce it to their beloved viewers to pray for the safety of the passengers and crews on board.
Many nationalities are involved including Americans. It turns me off to see that no beauty gurus are mentioning this,it makes me sad when all people think is beauty. Sometimes fame are gain for a reason, it is to spread kindness and love no matter who you are or where you are from. I wish to see you and all of us here to pray for their safety.
The world is much more than beauty and makeup and skincare ladies, please please let us all pray no matter what your religion is.
