After watching this video on repeat for over a year now I JUST JUST finally tried the look out!!!! I've been watching Jaclyn's videos since she first started TH-cam, I had started breaking out reallyy badly and still have horrible acne scars to this day. She taught me how to do my makeup but I've never tried an eye look until now!! Trying this look out for the first time was super discouraging until the end when my entire face was beat, so anyone else out there reading this, KEEP TRYING AND PRACTICING, you WILL get better!! The look is AMAZING... but the clarity of this and the lighting!!!! I have struggled like crazy with the lighting. I know cameras are a big part and I have 2 good ones buttt, PLEASE do a video on the lighting setup. Like how far are they, which you use and ur camera setting and such :) Xo

This was the one she posted on snapchat for her super red hair. To make it not as bright and the color she has when its darker she adds in infiniti 3.0 "Dark brown" let me know if that is what you wanted!

I just saw Jaclyn's snap about people bitching at her for using a foundation brush from Morphe. WTF is wrong with people? Lilly S. look for lashes that don't flare out on the ends! Similar to the Ardell 122. I always thought false lashes weren't for me until I realized I just need them to be the same length on the ends as the inner corners, if that makes sense. Good luck :)
Make sure you measure the length of the lash to your eye before application. If they seem too long, then cut a little bit off from the very end. Just keep measuring and cutting before application. It always helps me to just gently lay them as if I were actually applying them so I can see how much I need to cut
I have the same issue and I like the red cherry 747xs or 747s. Kara brand lashes also makes those same styles. Kiss natural lashes in 08 are also really nice.
Weird request, but I LOVE green eyeshadow but can't seem to make it wearable at all, it's way too much for daytime and almost drag-esque when I try it. Suggestions?? Tutorial???
If you can find it, I suggest a military/olive green. Wear it all over the lid as a sort of replacement for neutral browns, then use the same transition colors and browns around it as you would with a neutral :) it doesn't look weird at all, it's just a slight twist on a neutral eye, and it might even take people a while to notice that it's actually green.

I just saw Jaclyn's snap about people bitching at her for using a foundation brush from Morphe. WTF is wrong with people? She uses Morphe all the time, if you want to hate that she uses the brand, that basically means you hate a major part of what she does and loves. Maybe just quit watching her. Also, that means you've clearly never tried the brand, because its really great for the price.
Also, I personally use that brush. And its AWESOME. She didn't lie.

Jaclyn, I've been looking for a tutorial using Mac's electric blue eye shadow or any blue really but can't seem to find anything that I like. I know blue on the whole seems to be a scary color for a lot of ppl, but I would love to see your take on a blue eye look. Nothing super crazy but something wearable. Ive tryed false lashes before and the lashes are always wayyyyy too long?(TⁿT) I can't find any for small almond eyes Help?!?!
Lilly S. look for lashes that don't flare out on the ends! Similar to the Ardell 122. I always thought false lashes weren't for me until I realized I just need them to be the same length on the ends as the inner corners, if that makes sense. Good luck :)
Try Red Cherry 747 S eyelashes they are perfect for your eye shape. Of coarse you might need to cut them down to size.

Make sure you measure the length of the lash to your eye before application. If they seem too long, then cut a little bit off from the very end. Just keep measuring and cutting before application. It always helps me to just gently lay them as if I were actually applying them so I can see how much I need to cut
I have the same issue and I like the red cherry 747xs or 747s. Kara brand lashes also makes those same styles. Kiss natural lashes in 08 are also really nice.
Weird request, but I LOVE green eyeshadow but can't seem to make it wearable at all, it's way too much for daytime and almost drag-esque when I try it. Suggestions?? Tutorial???

If you can find it, I suggest a military/olive green. Wear it all over the lid as a sort of replacement for neutral browns, then use the same transition colors and browns around it as you would with a neutral :) it doesn't look weird at all, it's just a slight twist on a neutral eye, and it might even take people a while to notice that it's actually green.

It is the Tom Ford brush but she's explained in other videos that it's not something to run out and buy, she just had the money at the time so she got it.

The nasty comments were on Jaclyn's last video on a comment Kathleen left. That's why Jaclyn was so upset--people used her video to attack Kathleen (who definitely doesn't deserve it!!).

Because it's a powder it won't. And if your wearing eyeliner on your waterline it will help prevent it from running or smudging. Go for it girl! And if you don't like it it washes off:)
