Graphtec CE6000-60 PLUS | Basic Set Up
How to do basic setup on the Graphtec CE6000 Plus Series cutter.
After you unwrap the cutter from the packaging there are a few areas you want to become familiar with. The black square on the front that slightly resembles a print head is your blade holder. This holder can move freely from left to right when the system is it its off position. This is how your machine cuts left to right.
Another location you will be adjusting regularly is the roller feet. Remember that the rollers must be in the “blue zones” indicated by the blue tape along the front side of the cutter. The blue zones are where the cutter will be able to grip your media. To move the rollers simply press the lever down which will lift the roller feet. This will also allow the rollers to be moved to your preferred location. When you have the rollers situated in a blue area and you’re ready to add vinyl, simply feel the roll or sheet of vinyl through the back and then lift the lever to its upright position. This action will cause the roller feet to lower onto your media. This is how the cutter moves media back and forward.
Now you are ready to cut!
