I am 56 and have always wanted to play this carol. Now I can!!! 😊This is simple enough, but with a little flare, so it sounds like I am not still in beginners class, thank you.
I just love the way you talk in every tutorial video, you’re so tender and calm. It makes me feel happy. I’ve learned “River”by Joni Michell with your video in just less than a month, and I’m just a beginner with a little childhood experience in keyboards. And now I’m learning No Surprises. Thank you so much Nate! Discovering your channel is the best thing happened to me this year!
Nade! This is one song I really wanted to learn cause it hits the ❤️ heart sincerely! Do " Oh Holy Night" when you get the chance! Silent Night is so wonderful! Thanks much !! .♾️💟💟♾️
Thnak you for your help. I was using the keyboard from garageband to try this, and it was difficult, but you were a kind and patient teacher. Thank you. Merry Christmas. Love and Light.
Hi Nate, I have a singing competition in a few months and I was wondering if u could release mitskis my love mine all mine chords on ur channel. Ur tutorials are the best and ur lyric sheets with chords are great too!
Hi Nate, I recently found you on youtube and was really impressed. I am interested in buying both your course but I wanted to ask which one should I buy and complete first? I couldn't find an email address on your website to ask. Thanks, Katie :-)
Hi Katie! I would recommend Piano Chord Breakthroughs to start as it is designed to improve your playing and give you things to practice. That said, the two courses are complementary and do not need to be finished in a particular order. Keys to Chord Progressions is more theory that will deepen your understanding of the music. If you have the bandwidth, working through some of those lessons as you practice your way through Piano Chord Breakthroughs might be helpful. Keys to Chord Progressions can be taken more like a lecture series, with less emphasis on practice exercises. It's really up to you...if you feel like Piano Chord Breakthroughs is all you can handle at the moment, then stick with that first, but I'd recommend seeing how it feels to dive into some of the KTCP lessons as well and take it from there. Cheers!
Thank you so much! This is really beautiful. I have a hard time not playing the higher G in the second verse. I have a hard time singing when it goes lower .Is it OK to change it a bit?
Hi! Yes absolutely, in my opinion it is always OK to change things to make them your own/work for you :) You might also try it in the other key and experiment with singing up or down the octave...there is always a good solution for any vocal range. Cheers!
