Enjoyed that Senan, class fish..casting is one area i must concentrate more on,its a great skill and thrill to find the pike by this method. Thanks for the video.
@@senanstanleyfishing, I lost what would have been a pb at the time about 2 years ago, same thing but net got tangled on one of the seats in the boat, didn't even get it in the water, needless to say pike swam away too,😢, all tje fish we catch, its still the ones that get away that we remember most🤣🤣
👌 To be fair a pike would probably still take it without the tail 😂🤝 I’ve taken off the split rings and hooks and made traces up with them for other lures, nice to recycle these bits 👌
Thanks Barry 🙏😁 these fishing channels are slow growers here, hopefully people are enjoying it 🎣😁 the right sponsor will come along eventually, I’m not fussed right now because I enjoy being able to use all different companies lures and stay unbiased 🙏☺️
What's the story with those rattle trout tails? I've never actually lost a tail on them and I've been using them for years, had a good few 20s on them. Wonder have savage gear changed the materials they are made of? They are expensive lures, that would really piss me off!
Not sure frank, most I’ve ever gotten out of one rattle trout is 3 fish and I’ve been using them a good while now, I’ve been repairing them with the soldering iron to get a few bonus fish from them when they’ve been extra torn up. Maybe I am just cursed 😂😂😂
Great vid, Senan. Do you ever have a problem reviving the pike when they come from 30+ feet? Sometimes it takes me quite a while to get them back to normal.
Not really David, but I guess these things can happen after a hard fight for them, and I guess it depends on the water temps 🎣☺️ I use quite heavy tackle so bully them into the net pretty fast, that can help a small bit. 🙏
Thank you for posting this video
I have been struggling with this for some time now regards Leslie mayo
Thank you!
Class pike lad 👍
Thanks Scott 🎣
Thanks brotha. Very informative. Been trying to figure out how to fish deep water and havent been too successful

Thanks for the video.
Probably the most exciting way to get a pike, the way they hit the lure down deep is amazing 🙏
@@senanstanleyfishing 100% agree..
Great job landing that one when the rod got caught in the net 👏
Horrible when it happens. I lost the biggest pike I’ve hooked in this situation 2 years ago, still haunts me to this day, watched it swim away . 😅

Nice one bud 👍 I'm sure you will find some way to bring the baits back to life 😉

How much is that reel to buy
Around the 300€ mark depending where you buy it Benjamin 👍
@@senanstanleyfishing thanks 👍
Pike took the tail on my brand new lure yesterday 😭
Hate what that happens 😫
The struggle is real!!
The pike love the tails 😂🙏🎣

@@senanstanleyfishing Agree. If the water is cold, it's a lot easier to revive them. And using heavy tackle brings them to the net quicker
Such a powerful fish, the bang they hit the lure down deep is probably one of the best feelings ever 😁🤝🎣
