My husband and I made this tonight for dinner. We always make homemade gravy as well. He added the back piece he cut off, along with the neck, to the boiling water that would later be made into the gravy. I had left over basting liquid and used that for the rue. Green bean casserole with some left over corn-on-the-cob (because we had to use it up) is accompanying the chicken. And, last but not least, your delicious French Bread! Thank you so much for beautiful delicious dinner!

Kaleb this looks delicious! I might make the marinade and use it for boneless chicken breast and cook it on the grill. Definately a good recipe to hold on to. I love your channel because you show the recipe right in the video and you don’t have to go searching for it.

Can’t handle rosemary or smoke. But can’t wait to try this leaving those 2 ingredients out. On a side note Let me add that my husband and I Do not eat salad. But I made your spring salad and now my husband is asking for it at least once a week. I’ve made it already about 5 or 6 times. I can’t wait for your next recipe. Be well. 😘

Ive ALWAYS wondered this about resting meat. Wont letting it rest for 15 minutes make it cold when you go to eat it???

On a low sodium diet how does rub do without the salt. How do you adjust the herbs?

HELP! You mentioned keeping your rosemary indoors over winter. I know rosemary is a perennial/evergreen but I haven’t been able to keep it inside. Every year I plant it in a pot and bring inside in the fall and it always turns black and drops all its leaves. I grow lots of herbs and always harvest and dry them, but would love to be able to keep rosemary going. (I live in PA in the NW corner, zone 5 if that helps). Could you possibly do a video about this?

Hi, I'm in Maine, It took me a while (years😣) but I finally have had the same plant for 3 years now and it's pretty big😵‍💫I think It's such a temperamental plant😵‍💫! 2- 3 wks. before bringing inside I move it around the yard so It gets a little less sun light to get it acclimated to indoor conditions, It requires the sunniest window, I've never had any luck with just having it in or by a window so I use a lamp w/ fluorescent bulb, 7 to 8 hrs. seems to be what it likes. Watering consistency is also needed, too much water and you'll end up with root rot, Fungus gnats & or maybe mold, too little water will kill it. It really depends how hot you keep your place, you have to find the right amount of watering, never let it dry out completely but don't soak it. I also run a fan in the room I keep my plants in for air circulation to prevent powdery mildew. 2 times a month I use Neem Cake (not oil) to water, although it really stinks for a bit it does keep the gnats away for me and it also is a natural fertilizer. It can be a bit expensive at 1st. but a little goes a long way. Even when my plants outside I keep it in a pot, don't allow it to stay root bound, I now use cactus soil with added perlite. Don't harvest too much at once. Rosemary & Basil are my favorite herbs so it's worth all the effort for me, I hope you find (if still needed) this long post helpful, Good luck!

I've noticed there's a difference with roasting with electric and gas. I miss my gas oven, especially for roast meals😩

What if you really enjoy eating meat, but really don't like touching raw meat even through gloves. It's a good thing that my husband's the better cook. 🤣🤣🤣
