Speaking of which, think it would be great to see the odd review on older trucks like the Eurostar or going back further to the likes of the Volvo F12/16 (tall order I know.) anyways, love the channel, see you on the next one 👍
First wagon I ever went in was my father's old Turbostar 480. Bit basic inside for European runs but by God did she have some character. Used to sing a soulful tune when the foot was buried to the boards

thats a nice truck and a good price. i wish we could get trucks like them in th us, i like my convetional hood truck but i realy do like the euroupe style trucks and the tech with them

I believe this style of the Iveco was named the Hi-Way Stavros. Really like the design, fairly nice to drive also in my opinion.

Just finished up driving a 2016 stralis for the last few months,comfortable enough truck but not enough movement on the steering wheel and an absolute disgrace of a gearbox the truck just has no clue of what gear to select and the delay from a standstill is borderline dangerous (particularly at roundabouts).I can't understand how they made it so bad when Scania Volvo and Renault have great auto gearboxes for at least the last 10 years or more.
the stralis i drive have very good gearbox, responsive and dont make any hassle, maybe yours was faulty?
Iveco have always been the cheap option of the truck world. Nothing has changed since I drove them 20 years ago. I dread the day when I have to drive them again.

Not bad iveco but I want a scania or man never seen a single one in the states I've contacted a few euro truck companies an inquired if its possible to obtain 1 and that one ideally would be a scania I think but no reply from a single manufacturer.
