    Great Video.
    For those wondering you can also do conditional logic on regular fields like the name and email fields. For example to ensure they fill out Name and Email before a partial lead is created or before the submit button is visible simply...
    Enable Conditional Logic for your element like the submit button
    Select ALL for matching dropdown
    Select IS NOT for the field you want to ensure are filled and leave the value field blank
    Repeat for each additional field by clicking the + sign
    This way it tells your form to for example only show the submit button if there is data in those fields, it will hide it or disable it if they are blank. Using this with the Partial Entries addon helps prevent blank partials from showing up in your entries table.

    I have created an online contract but I need the descriptive text exported along with the populated text, so it looks exactly how the form looked when the customer filled it in. As this is a contract they have a reference to all the terms and conditions. Please tell me how to achieve this

    So i have a field, the field is marked as D, there are fields A, B and C preceeding this field. I only want D to show when A is selected AND either B OR C is selected, so it would look something like ({{A}}= 'Yes' AND ({{B}}= 'Yes' OR {{C}}= 'Yes')). All i can see with this gravity forms is Either the Ability to go A AND B AND C AND D, or go A OR B OR C OR D. not A AND (B OR C). thank you

    Your videos are VERY helpful and I very much appreciate it!
    Could you do one on dynamically populating a drop down field? I am struggling to get this to work ....from what I have researched online, it requires a bit of coding, and that is not my strong suit. A tutorial would be MUCH appreciated. Something simple like, " User submits example in Form A, then that example shows up as a drop down item into Form B"
    Thanks again!

    • @bmfrench89
      @bmfrench89 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! An example - I have page 1 with Form A. On this form is a single text input field titled "Favorite Cars" I want the user to type there favorite car, hit submit,done. On page 2 I have form B with a drop down field titled "Most popular cars" I want this drop down field, form B to be populated by users submissions from form A. I hope that made sense!

      +WebTegrity No, you pretty much said what I needed in your first response.. I believe what I need to do is listed here: www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/article/dynamically-populating-drop-down-fields/ but I just don't understand php enough to input that. Also what I need is slightly different then the example they give. I have looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot find any videos about gravity forms dynamically populating fields.

    I have an issue that I can't seem to find the answer to.
    I'm creating a form which at each stage needs to add a multiplication depending on the option chosen. There are about 4 stages each with 3 options. The first is a price, the rest are multiplications of that price, then I need it to give me the total. I'm sure this is possible with Gravity forms but I can't find the solution. thanks for any advice you can give

    Hey thank you for this video. I have a question around conditional logic you might know the answer to. Is it possible to have a 10 question quiz and give unique results for lets say questions 1-3, 4-6, & 7-10? So they could get a grade of A on questions 1-3, a B on questions 4-6, and a C on questions 7-10 based on if they answered the questions correct or not. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Kori, question about multi page forms. If a customer ends up only filling out 1 or 2 pages out of lets say a 3+ page for, do I still get the information they submitted for the first page or two? Is there a way to still get that info if they don't complete the full form? Very helpful tutorials you have btw, I love them. Thank you!

    • @KoriAshton
      @KoriAshton  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gravity Forms does have an addon for collecting information as it's typed. The problem is in privacy issues. The customer / visitor has not 'submitted' their info so technically it's not yours to harvest. Unless you add something to your privacy statement saying that you collect it - I'd be careful doing something like this.

      Kori Ashton What if I put the consent option on the first page would that work, or do they actually have to complete the form and officially submit it? It’s to ask them if I’m allowed to contact them via phone text or email

      Try "Gravity pdf" (wordpress plugin) if you haven't already solved the issue. you need gravity forms installed to get it to work.

    Thank you so much! I have a row with 3 columns ( using css -> gf__third accordingly ). The 3rd column is shown based on conditional logic, things are working ok. However, when 3rd column is hidden, the 1st input field from next row got moved up to fill the missing 3rd column. And everything below are also moved up 1 place. How we can avoid this issue?
    Thanks!

    How can I use conditional logic based on another field that has a tag as a default value setup? For example, that default value tag is {Parent:4} which means the Value that it displays is "Sample"
    So for the conditional logic, I want this new field to only display if that default value of that field is "Sample"
    But for some reason, it is only working if I set the conditional logic value to {Parent:4} instead of the text value " Sample"

    • @KoriAshton
      @KoriAshton  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Conditional logic only works within Gravity Forms based on choices selected... Default values aren't an option

    Hi WebTegrity,
    Thanks heaps for your great tutorials and superb energy. I really appreciate it.
    I designed two forms on our website with Gravity form. We want to show different submission page when our client press button on our first form, related to their currently Employment state and their fortnight income they should see different text, then could go through our second form. It is all I am struggling with! I am sure Gravity form should have something to do that with Conditional Logic but I do not how I am able to show different pages after pressing submit button! Could you help me to find a way because it is very urgent for us. Here is our form url: yesfs.com.au/pre-approval/
    Many thanks in advance.
