Swede here with an online business. I was in Thailand for 4 months, and loved it. Came back to Sweden 2 weeks ago, feeling depressed already. Planning to move to Thailand after the summer. The funny thing is that I came home to escape the rainy season in Thailand and enjoy the summer weather in Sweden, but it's 12 degrees, raining every day, and I don't want to go outside. My friends are working their 9-5 and everybody is a bit down and moody. I find no inspiration here and don't even want to date the girls here after seeing what Thailand offers.
Hi, i agree with you, unfortunatly most of western men have western mindset (they are used to high quality infrastructures, western relationships), so if they are looking for traditionnal society, they have to be able to be traditionnal men (take importants decisions, be reliable, be confident and able to protect your family...) most of us don't have this mindset under 25-30 yo, that why for most of them are better in western country (it's not bad or good but that just a fact)
@PassportBachelor yes man as soon as something is hyped and sold its finish already BKK and Thailand is over. Its ruined by overtourism, overhyped, ect. 5 years ago it wasnt like that. Sucks so bad but no choice

I felt the same in 2010, when back in France after 3 weeks in Thailand. They call it the honeymoon. Enjoy Thailand.
