    American incomes aren't always higher than western european countries. If you're going to recommend people go remote on a Western income, it's still better to trade in British pounds or Euros as they are valued higher and then just add the US as a market. For the majority of westerners, moving to the US is a worse decision than staying in Europe or moving to Asia on location independent income.

    You said having a beautiful woman and kids is part of the American, I believe that part is dead. Most American women, rather have child support and keep the house and get a new boyfriend so it would be like having 2 men at the same time. A single mother in America, would do anything to have a new man, especially if he doesn't have kids. I'm single, no kids and the difference between how a single mother treats a man she wants Vs a woman with no kids are light years apart. Single moms try to be traditional while childless women are entitled due to feminism. I have no kids because I'm afraid I will end up very miserable just to not pay child support or could end up paying Child support. I was married once and after marriage things went bad, I said no more. You know what the judge said to me after he finalized the divorce? My divorce. The judge said I was now a free man. So basically my marriage was paying for a crime. What was my crime? To love a woman. As of today, I have not met or have made any effort to find love because I no longer believe in love. Anyway, my American dream is basically have my own stuff, do whatever I want and enjoy the freedom and work on myself to keep providing the things I want. I do have one night stands every now and then but I don't get attached. But like I said, it is not priority, the longer I go without sex, the more I feel I don't need it. Anyway.....that's all I wanted to say

    Funny thing... I heard a guy that lived in Russia for 30 years... Left our country when USSR was in "full steam". And you actually were able to describe BETTER than him the conditions. He was veryyyyy superficial and talked for hourssssss. Your video was 23 minutes man!!! Very good. The guy is still here in my country doing talks, supporting Ukrainians and being anti-Putin. And I confess... I was actually falling to the Russia side... Because you know man, the West is full of BS too! I'm West European... I live in the poorest country of it. It's not pleasant at ALL!!! When you say "you better off being poor in the West".... Idk how much low we can get! I'm seeing people without a house or a car!!! People are on the edge! We're also living paycheck to paycheck!!! $2000 is more than our salary here! Maybe it's fine for North Europeans with their high salaries... But in the South??! TOTAL different story. But I'm noticing a trend here... Because my country actually came out of a Communist revolution too and we have the same symptoms! Is this tied to Communism??? Could it be??? Yeah we also have that "I don't give a F" mentality but not in work! I can't even look at my email and I only have a 15 minute break the wholeeeeeee day. So yeah we work wayyyyyy more than Russians. Although I noticed that the people that don't give a F are the elites! You know... Politicians, ministers, presidents... Like you said... And it's the same here - if you don't enter/work in the Government, you're f*ed! You won't be going ANYWHERE. Yeah... Similar thing. Idk what it is.... But allllll seems pointing out to Communist/Left wing ideology. The thing is.... When you look at the system... It has NOTHING to do with Left wing ideology. High classes?! Some are wayyyy wealthier than the rest?! Some are more privileged?! It has nothing to do with left wing ideology. This stuff is soooooo weird. Anyways... Thanks for the video man! Funny thing is i owned a 1.8t Skoda Octavia before this which i swapped myself to a APX engine (older version of the BAM, also k04 turbo etc) from a wrecked audi tt. It even had a 5 speed gearbox (the FR has a 6 speed) . It had a much better gas mileage than the tfsi engine although its an older engine (both running around 260 bhp) and the octavia had the drag coefficient of a brick 😂.... Maybe its full of carbon due to the direct injection. Honestly i think the 1.8t is superior to the 2.0 tfsi, keep good care of it because these will most likely go up in value (the S3)

    The points made here are mostly valid. What i really disagree on is work culture and wages. Those two are connected. True, there are people which waste their life with lazy jobs at low efficiency doing a bad job, and that is exactly why they do not earn much. And this is "pofigism" he talks about. Its people which care little, have no initiative and do not put their head to the task at hand. But it depends on the job, company and people. Other points are true to some degree, however not predominant. Just keep them in mind as a foreigner. Those things happen and exist. There are no pink unicorns here, life is hard for many.

    • @turbosandtalks
      @turbosandtalks 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Problem is… pofigisti get low wages coz of their low efficiency, when hard working good employees become pofigisti coz of the low wages. It’s a vicious cycle, and wages are still low compared to the US and Western Europe. Other than that, employees are mostly treated as slaves in Russia, it’s way worse than in the West. You d’rather work remotely for a Western company making $$$ or have an online business in a Western market. If Russia wants to attract Western and Asian talents, some big changes will have to made sooner or later.

    • @RusUrtel
      @RusUrtel 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@turbosandtalks I disagree. Pofigism mentality has little to do with wages (edit: they earn little, but even if they did earn more, they still would behave the same). Do people in the countryside in Russia have their own houses with land where they grow food? For example in many Balkan countries, many people own their land and raise cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and fruits/vegetables which they can eat all year round. Many of them even have their own water resources. Initially, they only need money to build a good house and invest in their own land. They usually do this little by little, and many of them work in Europe seasonally to send money back home. Some even have their own electricity from solar panels nowadays. I have family living like this over there and they seem to have more freedom even though they only make 400 euros a month. They don't need to buy food or water. Even if there's a war going on they aren't dependent on the state or other businesses to survive. Their culture and family life are way more intact than here in the West (I'm from Sweden). If there were an economic crash here or if we'd have sanctions like Russia have now, everyone would be starving because almost nobody is self-sufficient here. Is Russia similar to the Balkan way of life or do most people live in big cities like we do in the West?

    • @turbosandtalks
      @turbosandtalks 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      "Do people in the countryside in Russia have their own houses with land where they grow food?" -> Well some do, yes, but some don't. These people are quite resilient indeed, but they live a very simple life. It's a good option if you don't have any ambition whatsoever and don't get bored easily. "Their culture and family life are way more intact than here in the West" -> There are a lot of single moms struggling in Russia. Young single women are plenty, so Russian men have a lot of choice and it's not unusual for them to get rid of their "older" wifes with kids to go bang younger women. Russia is more traditional in some ways, but not always. "Is Russia similar to the Balkan way of life or do most people live in big cities like we do in the West?" -> Most Russians are city people and live in small flats. Thanks for commenting.

    All of what you say is either carefully hidden or even totally ignored by expats in France, especially Americans. When I checked their Instagram accounts or TH-cam channels, I just thought "dammit, is there any honest person about the life here ?" "safety while we have 120 knife attacks per day ?". But I also think their French skills may be too low to have access to some informations, for instance, when I searched "knife attacks in France", I only saw the main ones, that have been relayed internationally, such has the Annecy attack. Therefore, all of people will think it's just a tragic news item, like it happens everywhere at least occasionally. When you think about moving abroad, don't search infos about your future country in your language, inform yourself with people who're fluent in you target country's languages. Because the information relay in different languages is basically a telephone game: informations in the original language can be forgotten or deformed, then, others will pick your article as a reference and write another ones while deleting informations etc.

      Singapore and Hong-Kong being the exceptions. Japan, Taiwan and Korea have good standards as well.

    Nobody made you move to asia. Its a choice you have made on your own. You then realised you made a big mistake, and here you are attempting to advise others. That is rich of you. In case you haven't figured it out, there is no one suit that fits all

      I wouldn’t call it a « big mistake », I don’t regret my time there, it just doesn’t match my criteria anymore.

    I'm living in the Philippines currently and I can say there are a lot of pros : life is cheaper than in the west, people are easy going, and women are good looking (except the one who live in a Jollibee...) However, there are cons as well : you'll always remain a foreigner, a "kano", a walking ATM. Even if you worked f***ing hard to get what you've got, locals with assume that you became "rich" because of the holy spirit, and many will try to take advantage of you (your family at law, first). You will pay the "skin tax", and you'll probably experience "tampo" (sulk) + jealousy from your clingy local girlfriend. Paradise on earth doesn't exist.

    A few years ago I gave it a try, ended up with a lot of the same realisations as you. The foreign face always standing out, that was probably the biggest one for me. It was fun at first to get all the attention, the inability to get a good job - restrictive job market even if you're degree qualified, and under the surface there was always some form of violence or unsafe environment for you, whether it's from people trying to take advantage of you, or people getting killed on the roads - they started to wear my enthusiasm down for the place. I'm 42 now, life is just easier in Europe, spent a few years in Poland, moved to Finland, now I'm heading to Slovakia. I prefer the Slavic culture, seems to fit my personalty best.
