Also he knew he didn't need the shot because Hershy called out the plutoxin 7 virus, a.k.a. the poisen Snake was scratched with, out by name and called it rumor controlled prapaganda.
I was about to comment this but you got it. I thought this payoff was super cool. Also, based on this, looks like The Last Jedi RIPPED THIS OFF. Am I wrong? I don't think holographic projection reveals at the end of movies are a cliche, unless I'm wrong.
Also, the fairness of the virus they gave him was revealed by snakes transgender buddy when he first met him. It was a not so throw away line. Since he was only a hologram, this tells you snake believed the virus was fake but played into their ruse anyway in order to trick them further.
This film isn't meant to be a serious sequel to the first film. It's a satire of American culture. The presence of Bruce Campbell should confirm that. It's really funny, and I really enjoyed it.
Jack Park I know that the whole series is a satire but the first movie was a lot more subtle in it's satire of the American government and it didn't need to stoop to making Snake do ridiculous things out of self-parody. It's not like I hate Escape From LA, though. I did enjoy it for the cheesiness and getting more Snake but I just can't recommend it to somebody who isn't a huge fan of the original because the story is recycled and the supporting characters aren't very interesting.
Ah jack, your almost correct about mgs that's big boss with the eye patch, and on mgs2 sons of liberty solid snake went by the alias iriquous plisken in which near the end of the game which raiden says when he blows his cover to engage solidus snake who after the fight wears a eyepatch from loosing his left eye. In mgs4 solid ssnale also uses what looks like an eye patch but it is a binocular/nvg/thermal device
I don't remember if there was a directors cut, but the one I saw the Hologram was given to him in the beginning with the rest of the gadgets he got, Hershey was the one that tole snake the virus he got was only the cold.
