Alameda Naval Air Museum

  • This Museum in Alameda is full of WW2 and WW1 artifacts. Located on the island of Alameda, California, and a stones throw away from the USS Hornet aircraft carrier. It's a must visit for all you war buffs out there.

    Thanks for posting! When i was there to visit in 2018 unfortunately those two days the museum was closed, so i took in the USS Hornet two days in which my dad was on in WWII with VF-11. I really had hoped to check out the museum for information on my dad and his squadron VF-11.
