This song was (and is) definitely an anthem we listened to in the military. I remember seeing Rodney play a concert for us on Ft. Campbell in 2008. Everyone went crazy when this song was played.
Rodney faced adversity as a young child. He was an orphan that was adopted three times. The first two families returned him. He talked about it in an interview on the Bobby bones show.

First time I heard this we were on the way to Knoxville taking our youngest daughter to rehab. It seemed appropriate.

Ahhh I had this on my playlist when I ran cross country in high school🤣
This was our theme song 17 years ago. Our at the time 18 yr old daughter was arrested for felony grand larceny of a combine tractor. It was huge. In court the judge asked her if she thought the tractor was sexy. It was hell. She went to rehab for a full year and the charge was reduced to joy riding. I bet that farmer doesn't leave the keys in his tractor though.
Lol Thats crazy but yeah im sure he learned a lesson.
