- This kit was super easy to install. A bit of wiring, but easy none the less.

Very nice job cuz. Hopefully you will get great use out of it for many years ahead. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friend. Fab On. Fix on. Weld On. Keep making. God bless.
I really like your videos, but I feel like you may have wired this incorrectly.
The way you have it wired now draws the power from the main fuse block and whatever wire you tapped in to.
I think you should have used the larger, higher Amp wire and fuse holder, and directly connected it to the battery and ran that to the relay.
Then you use a wire that gets hot with the ignition turned on and you hook it up to the terminal that energizes the relay.
When the relay energizes, it will allow the 12v from the battery to pass through and feed the vacuum pump.
This will keep you from having any high Amp draw being drawn through your fuse panel and stock wiring potentially causing a fire.
Thanks for that info! I installed it exactly how the directions stated, but that doesn't mean it was correct.
does the exhaust screw need to removed?
How much vacuum did you have before you installed the vacuum pump?

@@AutoDad Thanks for that, my brakes are a bit average at 15" and was thinking about one but not sure if 15" is low enough to be giving me issues.
Why mess with those noisy electric vacuum pumps? Swap it over to hydro boost. Literally easier than that vacuum pump. The car already has power steering so why not have REALLY good brakes. Just my 2 cents no one asked for but I literally do this stuff for a living.
Thank you. I have never dealt with hydroboost
