M's are just built different, feel different and are just all together better.... as you already know. I vote M of course ! lol I bought my M3 almost 4 years ago and all I've done are intakes and it's plenty fast and doesn't need anything crazy right off the bat. I say if you get one, keep it stock for awhile and really figure out what you want based on how you drive etc. You won't regret it!
This is a tough question. Coming from someone who went backwards. It all comes down to what meets your life style and needs. I went crazy on my 440 just becuase I wanted to have something slightly different so I don't really miss the f80 at all with the looks. I just miss how the handling felt at times but its not enough to make me feel like i made a bad decision. I now have the looks of the M but everything else for mods and maintenance is a lot cheaper and I can still tell myself I have something that not everyone has despite it looking like an M4 lol. Also I personally cant see myself buying a car that I cant afford to mod the way I would like, some people are happier driving a stock M than a modified non M. F8x are a lot more manageable now that the G8x took over. I wanted to get a G87 but everything I like for it is so expensive and unreasonable for me to spend at this point in my life and I really dont want to get rid of my f32. Just go with what you feel is right
Yeah the handling is huge for me but our chasis are still a comfortable ride. Your build is insane, very unique and understand why you chose to do that. Thanks for input brotha 🙌🏼
Went from a F30 340i -> G20 M340i -> F80 M3. I wish I got the F80 instead of the G20. B58 is fun and all but nothing comes close to the feel of an M. It's truly special.
Hard to justify 41k for 50k mile older m car imo. I just bought a 21" G20 M340I for 43k with 19,000 miles fully loaded executive edition shadow line package and everything. Just do your research brother before pulling the trigger that's all & do whatever makes you happy
340i. Look up a comparison video, there are major differences going from gen to gen. Same motor but for the M340i it has an upgraded fuel pump and tuned for higher performance from the factory
i traded in my 2015 F80 (6-speed) for a 2024 G80 (8 speed auto) earlier in 2024, trust me it's next level. I was worried if it would pretty much feel the same. the acceleration is just amazing, go try it out before you trade your F30. Good luck and all the best to you in 2025! ///M FTW!
can also gos big turbo on 340i and still destroys M cars up. Def do not upgrade to a F series m3 m4.. go big get a g80 m3.. im on pure850 my 340i 600hp and still in love. are you just wanting it to say "M" 3 lol ?

@@skrrtproductions safely tuned .. can run pump or e45 for 600hp.. without hurting the bank. no reason to upgrade to get a f m3.. get a g80 m3.. also it feels diff cause its wider .. and tighter steering thats about it .. by all means tho .. if you content creator and wanna move up choice is yours .. my situation fits my needs lol

The M car is beautiful 100% the way it looks the way it handles but Remember that if you want to modify the M car. That Crank hub has to be replaced. And those crank hubs to replace are 💰💰💰 down here in Florida. It’s around $5000 to replace the crank hub. Not sure how much it is in your state. I mean, if you’re willing to go ahead and replace it by all means choose the M but in my opinion I’ll stick with the 340 because maintenance is much more affordable. At the end of the day if you like the M go ahead and choose the M brother . Cheers 🍻
Dude don’t jump on the wagon saying a m340i isn’t a M car and two m3 isn’t easy especially it not being all wheel drive and once something goes wrong it’s an arm and leg. Now a days your not finding a m4 or m3 without at least 40-50k miles on it and u can find a m340i with less mileage by far and tune it

F82/G82 weights 1000+lbs more than e46 don’t offer much anything much Better true BMW m’s can compete with 911 gt3 rs go for the real m’s all these new m’s are disconnected from reality and not worth it especially for the shitty sound

In my opinion, the B58 engine is a more reliable engine than the High Performance S58 engine. I don't like trouble so I prefer you keep the 340i.
A newer one would be under warranty but I feel you. Also a bit more difficult to work on and maintenance costs a lot more lol
Never trading mine, can’t beat reliability, power, and great mpg with the B58.
