I did everything you said to a T i believe to fix my black skys and now my races wont even launch I have CSP 1.80p218 CM 8.2561 Sol 2.29 & Pure 1.80a and now my game can't even start a race.
go to assetto corsa documents folder, then logs, then check log text file and custom shaders patch look what causes the error, could be a car could be a mod. Another thing is watch my ultimate race cancelled video, I show important files and programs that windows needs to run these new shader mods properly.

None of your videos managed to make the rain work again in my game, and now I have the black sky + texture not present. All this because of an automatic update while the rain worked very well before this update... But thank you anyway for all your videos
hey brother, the rain and black sky are the easiest fix of all, problem comes, if people have drag and dropped SOL & Pure into Content Manager which can bust internal game files, there is no fix for that except for proper game wipe that I show on a lot of the videos. For Rain can be simple from just CSP bug aka reinstall csp to having to wipe all 2-3 mods sol,pure,csp to wiping the entire game worse scenario.
I've done this for 2 years never have issues that means the problem is user error all the time, you are missing something, for rain you need latest csp preview and latest sol or pure, old versions are not supported anymore.

Hi, sol planner is from sol, if you installed sol as I did, it should pop up, but you need to enable the apps in content manager. If it doesn't work don't panic, folloe my lead again to reinstallation and it will be fine.
everything works. but now cars are unstable in rain theres little to no turning traction at all soon as track is any type of wetness i cant turn my vehicle and it just keeps going forward

Hey yes the road is green because there is a debug option turned on for rain and when it rains it goes green. Go to discord, I'll be there maybe in a few hours need to finish a video.
you gotta use the latest version of mods and install them clean manually, it always works I never get in any problems and it's been god knows how much time, it's all about how you install the mods.

Okay, then it probably is sol/pure problem. My advice is delete all of them like I did, even CSP. Delete CSP, SOL, Pure whatever you use of these 3 complete wipe and follow my installation how I do it 1 on 1, so you can be sure no problems will follow up.

See, in VR with my Quest2, I can't launch the game with OpenXR using the latest CSP versions, I have to use lower versions like 1.60 so I can't use the newer SOL due to compatibility issues. Hi, I believe you need to use Pure with new csp, because new csp supports pure not sure about sol. You can defo look at video settings, also it can be good idea to ask peterboese on his discord regarding the VR he might know a bit more
Man... what a mess of numbers and versions. I know they're doing a great job on old vanilla AC but unfortunately there's no a single racing sim with decent time lapse and weather unless you're up to crazy your mind with SOL, CSP, CM, infinite versions of each one and so on.
yea true, once you dial in the mods, it gets easy with time. You just need to make sure you have latest versions, then you know 100% that they support each other, that includes content manager version as well.

Hello, i am having a problem with pure, it is causing my speedometer to get blurred out when in first person, it looks as if it is becoming blurry because of the car doors or something, everything that overlays any part of the car interior is blurred out, ive followed lots of TH-cam videos that are supposed to fix that and no hope, please let me know what to do in order to fix it
hey brother, It's first time I see problem like that, but I'd advise to check your ppfilter, as pure might have some sort of interference with it and cause problems, apart from that I am not sure.
Hey mate, I had some issues tho, easiest and worse end solution is delete AC documents folder, you will lose controll settings and video ones rest is saved in CM data. But it should remove the busted files, watch my ultimate race cancelled guide.
I upgraded CM to the new version. I installed 1.80a Pure and 1.80.218p csp, but my Pure Config stopped working. Only the left Planner works, please help..

not sure, I can only suggest is some debugging, open the debug app in CM, it requires you to have developer apps enabled in python apps or apps depends what csp you got and in game check the debug tools.

When i put the Sol files in the AssetoCorsa root, this apears like over 260 files with the same name, not just 8 like the vídeo, even after i done correct the Sol Unistall from the AssetoCorsa root folder. I hope this note generate any problems or conflicts. Ill test later, then ill back to report this.
yea just replace, the difference comes with different versions, if you deleted sol or pure very old version and install new one, then it probably will have tons of new files or changes. You should be okay.
@@projectxmotorsport It had some problems but I redid the process and now everything works or ok, thank you very much. I only got one thing wrong, I set it to automatically download the cars and mods needed to enter a server with traffic and I didn't know I would need so much space and I ran out of disk space, and I don't know how to undo the process since there is only one car went to the "mods" folder. I can delete the cars but the rest of the files will be loose in the Asseto folder, the thing sucked more than 20gb, complicated.
@@mauricio6614 I recently delete my content folder assetto reached 900GB and last time was 1TB+, some people have even separate drives for the mods, so be careful haha.
I literally explain that in the video, you didn't watch it. You need CSP preview 218 to get the controller script on drive menu weather tab. I covered this in the last maybe 2-3 update videos, feel free to check them out.
if you did everything it will work, yesterday a fella came with black sky and I saw him using pure 1.80 instead of pure 1.80a. also make sure you install manually not via the install.bat. If you have the last versions released and you follow this, it will work.
@@projectxmotorsport thanks for your support, but I have just found out now that the main reason it was not working was two things. Firstly, I thought content manager was the issue so I downgraded it. This should have worked since I can actually select the controller script through csp settings but it didn't, so my solution was to downgrade from csp preview 1.80 to 1.79 on top of the CM downgrade and it finally worked
@@3ld.z can you tell me which versions did you use before the downgrade? Here is the list of what you need: CSP preview 218 SOL 2.2.9 Pure 0.180a Content Manager 0.8.2561 If you have these it should work, just make sure you selected weather script in weatherfx and controller script in drive weather options + you enabled the sol apps in CM - settings - assetto corsa - python apps.

Make sure to select Pure Candy or Pure Linear and it will open up, it only works with supported ppfilters. I hope you also installed the mods, as I did otherwise is no guarantee.
check logs in assetto corsa documents folder and see what it says, but you can also check my ultimate race cancelled guide if it helps, that's all I can do brother.

I was doing this to fix my pure config and now I have black sky I’m bout done with this game
never give up bro, make sure to get all latest versions, also update content manager to latest version and if needed reinstall the csp,sol,pure like I show.
Trust me as long as you stay up to date and install as I show, you will be always problem proof

if your update 0.1.79 go to Weather Fx set Controller script Sol 2.1 and Weather script default
keep in mind, the paid csp preview only supports Pure now, so SOL is very very outdated.

not sure, I can only suggest is some debugging, open the debug app in CM, it requires you to have developer apps enabled in python apps or apps depends what csp you got and in game check the debug tools.
could also be wrong installation of some mod or the ppfilter itself by mod I mean sol pure etc.
only one question. When we install the old version components will it work without error?
Hey brother yes, I tried CM 2467 + csp 180 preview 115 and old pure + sol and it worked fine.

When i put the Sol files in the AssetoCorsa root, this apears like over 260 files with the same name, not just 8 like the vídeo, even after i done correct the Sol Unistall from the AssetoCorsa root folder. I hope this note generate any problems or conflicts. Ill test later, then ill back to report this.
yea just replace, the difference comes with different versions, if you deleted sol or pure very old version and install new one, then it probably will have tons of new files or changes. You should be okay.
@@projectxmotorsport It had some problems but I redid the process and now everything works or ok, thank you very much.
I only got one thing wrong, I set it to automatically download the cars and mods needed to enter a server with traffic and I didn't know I would need so much space and I ran out of disk space, and I don't know how to undo the process since there is only one car went to the "mods" folder. I can delete the cars but the rest of the files will be loose in the Asseto folder, the thing sucked more than 20gb, complicated.
@@mauricio6614 I recently delete my content folder assetto reached 900GB and last time was 1TB+, some people have even separate drives for the mods, so be careful haha.
Why I don’t have controller script in weatherfx

You need CSP preview 218 to get the controller script on drive menu weather tab. I covered this in the last maybe 2-3 update videos, feel free to check them out.
can i use the 1.79 csp with new pure and sol? some server dont support 1.80
you can use csp 1.79 with sol only, pure only supports latest csp now.
I have not weatherfx options after install that all...

hey brother dont press download, check for the peter boese pure post in patreon and scroll until you find, Pure HighRez and LowRez links.
I done everything and pure still doesn't work...
if you did everything it will work, yesterday a fella came with black sky and I saw him using pure 1.80 instead of pure 1.80a.
also make sure you install manually not via the install.bat.
If you have the last versions released and you follow this, it will work.
@@projectxmotorsport thanks for your support, but I have just found out now that the main reason it was not working was two things.
Firstly, I thought content manager was the issue so I downgraded it. This should have worked since I can actually select the controller script through csp settings but it didn't, so my solution was to downgrade from csp preview 1.80 to 1.79 on top of the CM downgrade and it finally worked

CSP preview 218
SOL 2.2.9
Pure 0.180a
Content Manager 0.8.2561
If you have these it should work, just make sure you selected weather script in weatherfx and controller script in drive weather options + you enabled the sol apps in CM - settings - assetto corsa - python apps.
i done everything like you it shows 0.1. 80 preview1 and weather script pure but I dont have option to controller script....

My Pure config still wont work...
Make sure to select Pure Candy or Pure Linear and it will open up, it only works with supported ppfilters.
I hope you also installed the mods, as I did otherwise is no guarantee.
