This video goes over Content Manager which is a must-have as far as Assetto Corsa mods go, as well as Custom Shaders Patch which makes the game better, and SOL which controls the weather. I also show you how to install cars and tracks, and use PP filters. Last but not least, I show you how to install rain, how to install a better chase camera, and how to compress your files so that they take up less than half of the space they normally would!

@@xynoxfl It slides really good (for a normal car not a drift car), but you do need to be somewhat quick since it's snappy. It feels really good to drive tho. As for mods, either on popular modding sites (such as racedepartment, vossen, etc), or on Facebook groups (there's a ton of them). I might make a video about that soon since it seems to be requested 😄

@@alwaysonboosthello, when I tryed to register for racing department to get sol it says that I have to pay to register, is there a way I can bypass that or is there a way to do it for free?
@@DBOSS_MTB just go to register and scoll all the way to the bottem where it says something about like a free version her i forgot sorry then just make an account and you should be good it happened to me it took two days

Fantastic video. One thing to note, for mods (track, car and pp etc.) you can simply drag and drop the archive itself into Content Manager and it will handle extracting, scanning for content and installing it.

dude what an amazing video! you were very cleared and answered all my questions. I just got in to sim racing, I got both AC and ACC and i felt in love with ACC due to the beautiful cars and the graphics. The vanilla game for AC didn't do it for me, then I saw all the crazy mods for AC and how cool it can get but seemed a bit complicated and this video was what I need it. I'm having a blast now! Wow! You just changed my life. I was enjoying the stock game. I went through just the CSP, SOL and PP Filter part and I honestly cannot believe it's the same game.
The change is spectacular. And ZERO performance impact. I'm still getting 289 FPS. RTX 3080 driving Ultrawide 3440 x 1440 display. i5 12600k.

ZH, I downloaded the zip file and yet have trouble getting it loaded into Content Manager. Which process did you use?
To be perfectly honest I don't recall. I do recall having a minor issue but have no idea how I worked it out. Sorry, 3 weeks ago is beyond what I can accurately remember concerning beating games into submission.

You can just drag and drop the zip files directly to content manager and it will prompt an install for car and track mods and a few other too.
It won't work with some mods since they're all organized differently (some have a content folder, others don't, some have an assettocorsa folder and need to be installed in the root folder, etc.). This manual way of installing them ensures you get it right. 😄

@Always on Boost I'm getting it. Got some car and track mods. Trying to find the freeway runs everyone's doing. It's way more sim then say carx lol. Got new handbrake and sequential shifter for the wheel. Next is a rig to put it all in.
@@jglaboratory Yep, it's challenging at first but waaay more rewarding since it's about as sim as it gets. Check out my latest video if you want to see how to install the freeway run (the most popular freeway run, I'll have more vids on that soon). I'll also do some driftin tutorials and things like that. @@alwaysonboost That was lovely! I am new in ASC and I would have never done it without you! You might help me with this, what pedals you suggest? I ordered the CSL ELITE V2 but I am not sure, I play F1 a lot also!
@@Lapul10ga Those are good pedals. To be honest any pedal with a Load Cell will do wonders, that includes the CSL Pedals LC. You can also get other Load Cell pedals from Moza, Simagic, etc. The ones you ordered are good tho, don't worry. If you can still return them and get the CSL Pedals LC they'll be a bit cheaper and better (IMO), but the Elites are great as well.
