- 2009 Salmon seine season in Prince William Sound. This is an opening at the head of Lake Bay with all boats trying to catch what is left of the pink run. Watch as we cork the Phoenix and are one of the only boats able to lay our entire seine out.

Pretty cool.
Lake bay was so packed this season. Did you see what the THA looked like for the one day they opened it in Unaqwick? It was insane. Everyone got maybe 30-50 fathoms out if that. We were taken out in two seconds when soem asshole got his wheel in our web. Crazy season. Next year will be better right?

Where are the fishing regulators?...do they exist?.how can large boats in a small area be shooting seine (?) nets right next to each other?...this area should be for hook and line fishing only..and even then should be restricted in size...if you had baited long line fishing here it would be hazardous to say the least pahahaha! Its comical but someone will get hurt here one day or loss of life..imagine if s crew member went overboard.. No one would help and search for him..no community spirit here. Zero respect...even third world fishing communities have better ethics than this place...what happens when you land and go ashore..have a drink in the bar together?..... No fights?....what happens?
