I love how "Day-to-day items"- literally the most basic category- became the miscellaneous section that you threw "alien abduction" into.

yeah even watching jon´s method i was like "i would do that different". for example the "weird blue bell" is into sewing for me because i see it as a thimble
I can imagine the Developers having a whiteboard that reads

"Adverts: Send that Egg Carton an e-mail!"
Hey Jon, as a forklift operator, I would advise that you organize everything in the delivery area first, and then move everything to it’s designated location. Less trips will save you time

I love that I've found a game where forklift operators can offer expert advice :D
Also rows of 3 in the central aisle, "overstock" on the back side, maybe? they seem to ask for 3 or less for most items, it would be quicker to cruise down the middle and snag your deliveries. i gotta try this game but it's a lot like work.
The curling things are called stones. I know this because I am Canadian and sometimes the stereotypes are true.
Also, the bell shaped thing is a thimble and should have went with sewing.
My first thought was curling rocks but it seems both are used interchangeably, which makes sense.
Was literally shouting "it's not an icy cave it's a thimble" at my screen in that section.
and the wibbley shaped thing is a piano and obviously the heart goes with the "fence post" and the alien LOL
The “fence post” is clearly an 1/4” audio jack, mono, just the silver part. It should have gone with music.
And while we’re at it, the “pointy down shape” is a guitar pick.

The fact that Wilmot occasionally smiles while working a retail stockroom is the LEAST realistic thing I've ever seen in a videogame.

Surprised no one else seems to have mentioned that you kept ignoring the people with the stars underneath them that you should probably serve first so you get more stars for dealing with the important people first. It definitely didn't bother me every time you did it 😂 luckily you made up for it by grouping ufos and rainbows as natural phenomena 😂
Not entirely realistic, you received an entire load without disappearing off to the tea bar followed by a 45 minute toilet break

And nothing broke down.
I just watched an hour long video of a man known for poor organisational skills and being easily flustered sorting boxes under time pressure.... man, entertainment in the 21st century is weird.
i enjoyed the video, but man it was hard to watch near the end. i just wish jon knew the stars under the people mattered more than what they ask for xD

I thought the multi-colored hexagon was different types of fabric! Love how this is all about interpretation and how our brains try organizing things.

Thimble is that metallic thingy you put on your finger (mostly thumb).

I have honestly heard the warehouse staff at one of our depots say they don't like using the warehouse software because it's wrong. While utterly failing to understand that it's bloody wrong because you don't update it when you effing move something from one location to another! Somehow some of these people have managed to have children?! I can only assume that 99% of the "logistics" was carried out by the other half.
We use on OS that I think originally came on tape and was from before 1986...

came into it sceptical because I am one of the most chaotic people many people state to know... took me 10 mins but I need more of this. whether as a series, as a livestream or as an injection, I need to see jon juggle with dozens upon dozens of tons of random shit
It's really interesting watching how Jon groups and organizes things compared to how I think about things
I love everything about this except the time. I wish it was focused more on just organizing and fulfilling orders rather than racing a clock.
For the record, without all the expert options it's much more chill. You have extra time to fulfill orders, and infinite stock take time to reorganize.

Im not sure how I missed you posting this video. I've been watching your channel for ages. This game is great, they recently add it to Xbox gamepass.
Be Jon. Get rotation upgrade. Rarely rotate anything.
This game immediately broke my brain by filling the warehouse with large, striped squares that _look_ like the designated areas you put things *_into_* but are apparently solid objects you can only put things *_around_* instead... :-\
I've worked in a few loading docks and they always paint the stacking areas on the ground with diagonal stripes, while unpainted areas are for walking.
EDIT: 32:15 - That's a _Thimble_ Jon, it belongs with the sewing stuff.
I can't believe Jon never realized he needed to prioritize the people who were giving stars. He would get all his stars if he'd just give the items to the people who had stars under them first before the other people but he never figured it out. Making the star people wait longer means he gets less stars. At least, that's how it appears. I haven't actually played but I noticed the number of stars being offered would decrease the longer the people offering them had to wait.

People with stars give you more stars if you give them their stuff earlier. Therefore they should be a priority

Personally I saw that hexagon as a colour circle. I would've put it in sewing.
Anyway, I do love myself some nice organising so this might very well be something for me. I'm not a fan of stressful games, but hopefully playing in regular mode will bring it down to manageable levels.
I lol when you called the thimble a blue bell ,I think I would have got flustered way more than you did still a funny and probably addictive game.

It looks to me like the "blue squiggle" is the outline of an armchair, and the "blue bell" is actually a thimble since it came with all the other sewing baubles. Either way, great video as always, and damn you for turning me towards *another* time-eater! XD

So many times I wanted to be able to tell Jon what something was just because it would completely mess up his system and throw his brain into chaos. XD
You don’t wanna block the small passage ways and keep things in small square blocks along the main way. Whenever you receive a large amount of the same item, just push them to the back for later stock take.

Game looks stressful. Jon, the blue ice cave shape is a sewing thimble and the multi-coloured geometric shape suggest a patchwork quilt to me. More importantly, when do you stream?
Was just thinking "could you organise by colours?" when Jon addressed that exact question.
