Thanks to Harstem (and his better half Hamster) again for putting on the show, it takes a ton of work to set this kind of stuff up and I have real respect for that effort
spoilers below - real spoilers i know how you commenters are you were warned
Looking at the last game again you can really notice the speed of the players, screen movements and such. Serral is a strategic genius, he definitely noticed and never mentioned anything about it, instead talking about the ridiculous builds and units xD. Definitely missed the forest for the proxy nexus trees I think.
I probably (paying better attention) would've guessed maybe Diamond something, but I NEVER would've risked Masters, no chance. I don't have the championship winning stones like Serral does to make a call like that. GG to the GOAT
EDIT: Serral didn't have his camera on in the call when we were recording, I can't believe he came in wearing a trophy shirt that's such a power move fml

The build order was super fricken tight on both sides and left units behide for recall. Pretty sure lowko said double robo is like a free win until masters 2 masters 3 if its not stargate at one point.
Thing is if you don’t know about both builds then they seem stupid bronze league strategies

@drel4569 yeah...again, I just don't get it. That's crazy that you would support his stuff when he cheated to get there. We can agree to disagree about the quality of his stuff... but it doesn't practically modify any part of the situation. Like he cheated. He cheated in the competition for viewership from other potentially (imo probably) better sc2 creators, back when the game was more relevant. How is that ok?

Shift clicking his probe behind the opponent mineral line, switching screens quickly, building cannons & battery in 2 seconds - the overall speed & ease of control... that's what put it over the line for me

@@oldoddjobs Yeah, when i saw the probe clicking behind the mineral line and when the immortals attacked the dark shrine, red quickly selected both gates 2x, that's usually a reflex done by higher level players, but i wouldn't have gone that high up because blue absolutely ignored his mineral line being trashed. Then again, he full walled, so nowhere to run anyway, didn't know that.

I guess part of Serral's logic was that blue had the gamesense to know he was winning with purely his immortals? He said something about blue being "efficient with his micro because he knew red wasn't mining."

Serral over the years, after 2018, has gotten much sassier for better or worse; im glad he is able to keep his mental stable, a lot of people don't appreciate that (they want somebody identifiable but our emotions that we want to see in others are often the things that can make us lose)

The Masters 3 guess sounded TOTALLY INSANE to me. I would have hedged with something like Plat 1. The reveal was the most incredible reveal in the history of rank roulette. Well done GOAT.

In previous seasons they have done a China server game in that spot, but those servers may not be online anymore or something. That was better than expected for me.
If I remembered correctly, they got merged into the Korea server. Or at least tried uniting more Asia countries into a specific server. I could be wrong though.

Watch the start of the last game and see how fast the red toss plays, no one below diamond taps that fast. That alone should put the last game in diamond 1/2.

Before even watching this episode I want to say thanks to everybody who produced another great season. This, WWTBAGM, IIODIS etc add so much value to my free-time. Very easy to follow as well in comparison to POV GM play like the other content. Thanks for all the great work and continous output Harstem, Hamster and whoever is involved

What can you say, a GOATed performance by the GOAT. Just an unbelievable score with probably the single best call in Rank Roulette history in game 4. Best end to the season possible. Thanks to Harstem, Hamster, and all the guests for putting out such great content.

@@Diogenes2077 Serral might have recognized the players from the build. I know three NA players who use that build, but the Korean played the build better than the mermaid. And the NA player was M1/GM at that time. And would not be Korean M3 this patch.

I mean, Serral is kind of a person that see something that other couldn't see. That is why he is so good.
I also guessed m3 at the end. What prompted me was that Red tried to mine the last few minerals for a DT while blue held back on making an observer in case he needed to build a nexus. This decision making was top tier. The reason I didnt say higher was because of the less then lovely immortal micro, and of course dark shrine in the wall was a bit odd. M3 made the most sense to me.

Yeah, because in the 1st and 3rd season they pulled a Chinese server game into the line up. Now with it shutdown this is the best troll game they could get to make it hard on them.
