It only looked pale blue to me when I saw it pinned to the Royal blue sash that HM Queen Camilla wore to the banquet for the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Otherwise I thought it looked very pale green too 🤔

I saw the Queen motion President Trump to go ahead of her. The camera angle was at a certain place to see that. Yes he hesitated. Some people only see what they want to see.

I went the shop yesterday and got my first " fiver" with Charles face on and it actually stopped me for second because I'm so used to our beloved late Queen, it's a lovely five pound note and I'm sure I'll get used to it but it's definitely something to get used to.
It was the same when I got a King Charles stamp. I got a bit of a lump in my throat!
I remember the first few times when people said " The Queen..." and for a minute I forgot.😢

I am fascinated by how Queen Camilla always looks so appropriately dressed...a little casual for a school visit and beautiful elegance for more formal occasions. Whoever is her dresser is doing a magnificent job. And she always looks like a warm and engaging person.
Unlike some other people who wore designer clothes to a school in New York's Harlem district and read from a book allegedly about a father's love for his child when many of the children there came from fatherless homes! At least Queen Camilla is in touch with the kids and truly enjoys being with them! 👑🫅
I have grown to absolutely adore Queen Camilla ❤. No put-ons from her, she is her natural, genuine self, she relatable and you feel she is truly listening and paying attention to you. Especially with the children who can read people easily, they are comfortable with her when she makes a visit with them.

The ribbon looks green to me also. You can clearly see of that snippet of a video, Queen Elizabeth did indeed motion for him to go ahead of her. It always looked to me like she enjoyed his humor. She obviously invited the President to lead the way, I personally thought it a quite charming scene. Such a big bear of a man being so deferential and doing his best to follow protocol. I think it means something that the Queen showed Trump the troops when others were shown by Prince Phillip or Prince Charles. I am politically neutral, such as the late Queen, and felt she liked Trump for the same reasons she liked Phillip, his sense of humor.

Dear River, I have been meaning to send this to you for a while, I very rarely comment on the internet. I have been with you since the beginning of this broadcast, and you have been wonderful company through pandemic hard times, lonely times, and brought much joy and laughter as well as food for thought. I wanted to share one specific word of thanks. When I was a wild teenager in the early 1980s, I had a very dear friend who sadly died all too young in the early days of aids. The world always seemed so much smaller without him in it. Your laughter, your wit, sometimes the flash of your eyes, and your lovely face are very reminiscent of my dear late John, 40 years later. In a way, your presence has given me some comfort remembering the vivacious spark of life he had, as you have. Thank you for being such a generous companion.
I think the portrait is very attractive. I think the King looks his most regal. I didn't notice his lips being open. Everyone looked quite sparkling. I'm not a Trump fan, but he was a real admirer of the Queen. I approve if his efforts to be thoughtful to the Queen.
Princess Catherine was greatly missed by all. Sophie was wearing Catherine's favorite tiara and Sophie wore it beautifully.

Her sense of duty was already instilled in her as a very young woman, no doubt, her father’s genuine influence. I was born in 1955 in the US. She was already HRM. All thru WW2, up till her recent passing I have loved her. Donald Trump recognized that inner strength and her and her unbreakable sense of duty. Oh, my was she ever smart. Recognized the trash that Harry allowed into their lives. And she was SO right about her. I will NEVER forgive stupid Harry and the tramp for their treatment of Harry’s family. Never. It takes a special kind of evil to treat your HUSBANDS grandparents in such an evil and hurtful way. I apologize for the tramp. We hate her too.

River, I suspect if it had been anyone but Trump, no disparaging remarks would have been made. What I saw was him behaving like a gentleman. He didn't want to walk in front of a woman and especially one that was HRH Queen Elizabeth II. I'm Canadian and not a Trump supporter. I only watch as little of U.S. politics as I do because usually what happens in the U.S. w/ regard to different issues (i.e., reproductive rights) does tend to trickle upward into Canada. She wasn't friendly or huggy towards France's First Lady when she extended her hand at the War memorial wreath ceremony. The Consort quickly moved away from her twice as the First Lady extended her hand as a goodwill gesture and in friendship between the 2 countries who both suffered many losses during the wartime period.

Really happy to hear you speak about the Trump walking in front of the Queen issue. I too noticed that she had gestured for him to walk ahead and that he seemed to feel uncomfortable doing so. Of course the news and those afflicted with TDS couldn’t see it!

HELLO KITTY! My students in high school are amazed that I had Hello Kitty items as a child in the ‘70s and ‘80s. She’s 50 this year.

I am 53 and always loved Hello Kitty during the 80’s & 90’s. I recently bought the 50th Anniversary trademark Tartan series (hand towel, reusable bag, ID retractable badge, and small pouch)!!! 💕
I also have their Anniversary pink phone charm & small wallet. I’ve seen all ages showing off their love of Hello Kitty 🤗

@@ppauline1515 Think the policies since Brexit and being stagnant for years has created an issues so migration is pushed to deflect but again as a Christian country it should be respect though most people disregard that these days. This country still has 8% black and Asians. Unfortunately, the U.K. wants a deal with India and the Indian P.M. say free travel,or no deal. Brexit has caused a real issue.

I think it was a choreograph error. The people along the inside of the row should have all been turned to face the king, curtsy/ bow then when he passed the end of the line, turn toward the table. Hmmm in my humble opinion, of course.
