1 Hour Comic Challenge ~ Round 2 (and How To Do It!)

- I created this 1 Hour Comic Challenge for myself and I'd love to see You to try it as well!
I love making comics and I've made this 8-page mini comic out of one piece of computer paper before but I've never tried to do it in one hour. The first time I failed this is the second attempt. Check out the video to see if I succeeded or failed.

This is the 1 Hour Comic Challenge created by yours truly. This is a challenged I developed using a foldy comic/zine (which I did not invent) which is created with one page of 8.5 x 11 or A4 computer paper which folded correctly creates a fun little 8 page comic!
RULES
1. Everything must be created within the space of 1 hour. (Idea, Script, Pencils, Inks)
2. Feel free to skip any steps as long as you come out with a finished Inked comic that can be copied and printed before the hour is up.
3. Don't feel bad if you don't make it (I didn't make it on my first try but I did finish a fun comic quicker than I would have otherwise!)
4. (Optional) Share how you did somewhere online via video, blog, social media post or however you like.
5. Let me know so I can share it as well and if you make a TH-cam video I will be happy to add you to the official 1 Hour Comic Challenge playlist!

As well as this comic challenge I've also done the 100 days of making Comics challenge and i'm currently doing my second round of the 365 Days of Making Comics challenge. I think any making comics challenge is a great exercise to help learn new things and get better at creating comics! There's also the 24 hour Comic Day Challenge which I don't know that I'll ever try just because I never want to stay awake for that long LOL but many have and they've got great results! Another one i'd like to try is the 5 hour comic challenge. Maybe I'll try that one next!
This one hour comic challenge was harder than I thought for sure. Let me know in the comment section if I should try it again. And also do you think You have what it takes to take on the 1 hour comic challenge?

On most printers I've used there's a setting in preferences(the bit where you pick portrait/colour or B&W etc) that says 'fit to page'. If you select that it should stop the cropping problem, its always worked for me & leaves a neat border with everything centered 🤞

I don’t think your comic is bad at all. I enjoyed it. I can see other stories from the character. This video inspires me to take up this challenge, but my main problem is, I need to know the story first. Been happening to me now days. I just seem to draw a blank when it comes to writing.
Thank you! Yes writing the story can definitely be a challenge. One solution is to do somebody else’s story but in your own way with your own characters. You can learn a lot that way!
@@MarshMakesComics How do you go about doing that? I hope you do not mind asking that, except last time my Aunt Astrid visited me she really felt I could be the next Whitley Strieber (not sure if you have heard of that author before or not?) or the next Stephen King, but every time I try writing even a short story, they wind up coming out like something out of “Goosebumps.” (Guess I am trying to find my own Mitch as they say.)
I love the lo-fi art style. There's also a certain humanity in the theme of social ostracism.

I also tried but my first try was a fail by 38 seconds but in my second one i finished with 1 minute and 27 seconds left this proves as my age is 11 and the slogan's right age is just a number

It was called poetry sparks or something. I dont know if I even have it anymore but there are many writing and drawing books like this that have prompts in them.
