Bob Einstein, what an unbelievably funny man. Rest In Peace.
Aww... I forgot he died :-(
HE DED?!!!
;_;
:(
Super Dave 😢
@@artbow7652 I forgot SUPER DAVE
Bob Einstein is so funny. I think Funkhouser is one of the best supporting characters just because Bobs natural delivery is so natural and hilarious at the same time
Sounds like a worn out bagpipe
InspectorGadgetz25 can’t warm to his character
@@agro9999 😂
yea he was amazing with Norm McDonald as well
YES
I wish they'd let Larry continue when he was saying he's not playing himself. I wonder where that was going...
1. “LARRY DAVID” IS AN “IDEALIZED” VERSION OF LARRY DAVID.
Sure, there are some obvious similarities between TV Larry and real-life Larry, but David told Rolling Stone that it wouldn’t be smart for him to be TV Larry all the time. “The character really is me, but I just couldn't possibly behave like that,” he said. “If I had my druthers, that would be me all the time, but you can’t do that. We’re always doing things we don’t want to do, we never say what we really feel, and so this is an idealized version of how I want to be. As crazy as this person is, I could step into those shoes right now, but I would be arrested or I’d be hit or whatever.” mentalfloss.com/article/69413/15-pretty-pretty-good-facts-about-curb-your-enthusiasm
He was clearly annoyed
The way Jeff laughing is quite unsettling to me 😂
And Larry laughs like a mechanical skeleton.
Keith Newberry hahahah he really does. well put
Larry claims he isnt playing himself then proceeds to act the same way as he does in the show lmao
richard lewis is how al pacino would be if he was an comedian :D
richard lewis is a comedian?
derp
We allready got Robert de Niro for that.
You're so right!
Godfather 2 & 3 were some of the funniest pictures ever made because of his hilarious sense of self seriousness. He's definitely a comedian, Lewis definitely is not
Jeff's laugh is fucking hilarious!
That Einstein impression was brilliant
What made Einstein's shtick so effective was his deadpan nature. While everyone else is busting up around him, he hold character, unsmiling. That's not easy to do, particularly when having to work with this group!
They are good, not just because they are funny, but because they obviously have such a good time together.
I feel like they cut off Richard Lewis talking about his notorious "hot mic" issues and trouble playing himself because it wasn't going anywhere 🤣🤣🤣
Good catch
lmao watching jeff laugh is the funniest part of this clip
Yes it is! 😂😂
"It's over! The careers over..." LOL
Mamacita Hermosa😍
bobby
Man rip the funk. One of my fav characters.
Watching this interview is like watching an episode of curb lol
Garlin's impression of Super Dave is pretty good. Nailed his hoarseness.
The thing about the 20th anniversary party in that episode, how he points out there are only black people and lesbians at that party, I've seen that episode a million times and I've never thought about it like that...great point
I LOVED the one about Funkhauser's crazy sister - so hilarious!!
the real larry seems more cerebral and reserved
I saw all the shows they talked about, more than once. Funkhouser is such a great character on the show.
Funkhouser seems the exact same. hahahaha
They all do. XD
shut the fuck up ! 😛 lol
Oscar O'Toole super Dave.
that’s because bob einstein stays in character all the time. very old school & i miss that
they shoot for ten hours for one scene and no one realizes there wasn't a bandaid in the scene? there's 10 producers that dont do shit and they didnt realize that? wtf
Right?
Daniel Smith that’s the script supervisors fault. They are the ones in charge of the continuity of the show, the episodes and going from scene to scene.
At the very least the camera guys should spotted it!
For Larry to realise that makes it even worse!
Oof yeah Larry mustve been so pissed at that
Is it just me or is Larry's normal speaking voice here distinctly different from his speaking voice on the show?
Definitely a bit lower and more laid back. There's a certain cadence and upbeatness to his "character"
Larry doesn't want to admit he's playing himself on the show, but he's basically the same as his character haha
RIP THE FUNK-MAN
Yeah, he's my second-favorite character. His serious, straightforward demeanor contrasts Larry, Richard, and Jeff so perfectly. Even his raspy voice is funny, lol.
Jeff's laugh was too good!
Love that Larry in real in is quite quiet.
I like how y’all tricked me into watching an hour video with 15 ads by breaking it down
Best comedy EVER!
Jeff impression of Bob is on point
Jeff Garlin has the best laugh ever
Super Dave. Legend.
When I heard his voice for the first time I was scared lol
Jeff's laugh is perfect.
5 incredible comedians...and Cheryl
I cant believe how quiet susie is during these sessions
“We’re friends ! we’re human beings !…”😂😂😂
Can't stop laughing at the way Jeff giggles lol
He sounded like a school girl 🤣
Jeff did such a good impression of Marty 😂
This was not a press conference.... It was a fucking episode 😂😂
Larry influences everyone to be that Loud everywhere!
I think Bob is playing himself at all times whether in character or not, what happens at the end of each shoot and he goes home, does he switch off and become "normal" or does he still think he's Marty?
He actualy does talk about how he plays as himself.
I've never seen Larry be so quiet for that amount of time....
rest in peace SuperDave, always missed
Curb is still brilliant... but God I miss Bob! He was incredible
I miss you Bob Eisenstein!
Rip Funkman🙌🏽
Dude Jeff Garlin on stage sounds almost identical to Penn Jillette
funkhouser is hillarioussssssssssss
Super Dave Osborn...
Brian I wonder where he gets his ideas from?
lets tell some jokes
His name (Marty Funkhouser) and the look on his face makes me laugh.
“We’re friends, we’re human beings.” Hahahah Super fucking Dave! RIP :(
funkhousers long ass stories
Bob was so upset and pissed they just left him there and didn't say shit. 😂😂
Richard Lewis looks ancient
he is
NarcoticDimension lo
....the drugs don't work....allegedly.😛
You should see him now!
djbred18 IKR. He’s like death walking
Larry wanted it perfect. Good for him
Jeffs laugh 😂😂
Funkman is a legend
AND THEY'RE GONE!!!!!! 😂😂😂
I want to meet Jeff so bad.
For a long time I didn't know that Albert Brooks was Bob Einstein's brother. I mean how funny is that, that his parents named him Albert Einstein? C'mom...you kidding me?
Thier parents were famous comedians. Funny people are funny like that
This is just as good as the show!
I always enjoyed super Dave on Letterman
Bob Einstein is hilarious.
Bob Einstein's gotta have a beautiful singing voice.
oh ho hoooo, i love the part where jeff garlin is better than those extras at about 5 minutes in....., and they're like all less than him and stuff!!! .... and then the other guy helps make fun of them!! oh man! classic!! ..they are so much less than them! ...so great! oh baby! great stuff!!!!
can we get a biopic of Bob Einstein ?
lol he's the only one who can fill Christian Bale's shoes
I think part of the reason he’s so funny is because he sounds so exasperated.
RIP Bob Einstein
that's really how funkhouser's actor talks?
too bad Larry didn't seem to enjoy himself too much.
pretty standard for him
To quite Jerry speaking of George (about Larry by proxy): "He'll be happy when he's dead."
Now you know when he said "I'm not playing myself..." was pure sarcasm.
3:13 - Jeff Garlin is one weird funny dude.
Cheryl Hines is my favorite Cougar.....Meeeeeeeeoooooowwwwwwwwwww!!!! LOL!!
Warren Riggs yep
Oh man 😂😂😂😂
This makes me miss Bob.
some laugh out of jeff
RIP Richard Lewis 💔
Super Dave Osborne
Rip superdave
Where is Leon?
I would honestly work for Larry for free, any day of the week
That would be season 5 episode 2, The Bowtie.
Would anyone explain to me Super Dave's story I understand what he's saying I just need some context
(I understand larry is acting like the character in the show)
The extras, “left of central casting “
Jeff laughing so hard.
Was that a special episode? Hahaha
damn bob was so funny
dat laugh
Susy is pretty much the only one who isn't like her character at all.
The sad thing is you are genuinely excited that you are the first comment arent you? You are sat at home with an inflated sense of pride. Well done kid, thats the best thing you will do this year...Well done.
Where's Leon?
Lampin
leon should be up there
Never liked his character
I didn't know that, Einstein.
invisible blackberry.
Jeff is covering his mouth like to hide from us he isn't laughing like that.
where is madam ruud gulit?
wheres j.b. smoove =) or the steeeinbrenneeer ha neh this is good
Too much inside, we as the viewer can't share in this form...
