They are there mate had six this season and dropped twice that … all the same spots … try the bombarda and estuary fly .. or maybe change retrieve rate stop and spin .. good luck and tight lines
I’m sure I’ve seen you down there that day from across the other side when I was out a walk. Do you fish there regularly? I’ve stayed in Dumbarton about 6 years only had the permit the one season for the leven. This has been my first year on the Clyde. Had a good 10 trout in Clydebank but going to focus on the castle and further up towards cardross 👏
Cardross usually good but can get busy. Levengrove can be good out from the park. You need to be careful where you go as there's soft sand. I usually park down between park and houses and walk out fishing between the two red bouys
